"It's Not Your Fault"

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 

John 9:1‭-‬3 NIV 

It's not always about who messed up and caused a situation. 

No one is at fault or to blame, not your parents and ESPECIALLY NOT YOU!

It's not a curse, generational or otherwise. People are just too quick to judge a situation based on outside appearance, based on how it looks to them.

But in this case, they would be  judging God,  they would be critiquing God....Because He's the reason you are the way you are. Learn to be okay with that.

Learn to be okay with you in spite of what others believe and are saying about you. There is no punishment being rendered, but you are just the way God wanted you to be, just the way He needed you to be.

He will get the glory out of your life. So, It's time, you really start believing you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Maybe, you are a little complex when it comes to certain things, but aren't we all?

Psalm 139:14 NIV, NLT

Beloved, Don't give up on yourself just because people can't see the glory in your story.  They haven't  lived it, so how would they know?

Knowing involves accepting and it takes a mature person to stop trying to find a reason, find an explanation and just accept God's will.

Jesus, Himself struggled with accepting God's will in The Garden just prior to The Cross. 

So, How can you expect far LESSER humans to be any better?

"Mirroring Jesus"

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. 

Matthew 2:10‭-‬11 NKJ

When you have greatness on your life, wise man will find you, gifts will be given to you....Just don't lose sight of your purpose along the way.

The wise men brought gifts to Jesus because they knew who he was, even in that moment as a child...And there is somebody who knows exactly who you are, they can discern your difference.

It's your difference that will elevate you. Jesus wasn't  like any other child that had been born. NO OTHER CHILD born around the same time as Jesus had the same EXACT destiny as Jesus NOT even John The Baptist. Matthew 3 NIV

He prepared the way for Jesus, but then (sadly), he had to get out the way.

SOMEBODY: 

On this 1st day of The Christmas Week, You need to know that a way has been prepared for you and when it's time for you to arrive...All others will have to get out the way.

Not only will you encounter wise men, but the gift (what you're carrying) will position you before kings. Room has ALREADY been made for you.

Proverbs 18:16 NKJ

In the meantime, Celebrate Jesus' birth because had He NOT been born with such a high level of greatness attached to his name...Howelse would you be able to recognize the greatness that is in YOU?

He is your mirror...You were made in his image, in his likeness NOT The World's, NOT your mom or dad as great of a people, as they may be.

Jesus always being our example in EVERYTHING we do as Christians....

"Who Is Your Naomi?"

Now Elimelek, Naomi’s husband, died, and she was left with her two sons. They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth. After they had lived there about ten years, both Mahlon and Kilion also died....

Ruth 1:3‭-‬5 NIV 

The text implies that Ruth married one of Naomi's sons and after years of being together as husband  & wife, he died....

Therefore, Ruth would have been left a grieving widow with NO DIRECTION, not knowing what's next for her life, had she NOT decided to follow her mother-in-law to Bethlehem, and be obedient  to her advice, thereafter. 

Think about it:

It's because of Naomi that Ruth re-married and became a mother for the 1st time.

It's because of Naomi that Ruth ended up owning the field she once worked in.

Ruth 2:1-3, Ruth 3:1-13 NIV

Who is the Naomi in your life?

Who is it that cares enough about your life, about your success that they are willing to advise you, willing to give you the wisdom of their years?

SOMEBODY: You think your life will be better once you get some money or you will be successful once you get some money....

Well, How do you explain Solomon?

Solomon NEVER asked God for money...He asked for wisdom to lead his people and ended up with BOTH money & wisdom.

Seek wisdom.

Identify the Naomi in your life.

Cling to and obey their advice.

The bible says: The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. 

1 Kings 3:10 NIV

Seeking wisdom pleases God and he will add the increase to your life that's needed.

#TheGoodSamaritian what stands out to me is HOW the Samaritian man cared for his badly injured neighbor...

He used EVERY resource he had to make sure this man was cared for EVEN in his absence.

The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

Luke 10:35 NIV 

I do believe that was an act of God and a pattern for ALL OF US to follow.

Beloved, God is trying to get you to use the resources you have to meet the need of someone else.

You see, Money (Denarii) is just not for spending & saving, but money is for saving someone else's life.

Think about it:

God saved our lives through what He gave NOT through what he kept....He gave His Son; Jesus became a seed sown so that we would NOT perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 NIV

So, Are you finally ready to imitate the Saviour, imitate Jesus, imitate that Good Samaritian?

Are you finally ready to stop what you're doing TODAY to assist a child, making sure he or she has all they need EVEN in your absence....

You need to know that child is well taken care of, EVEN in your absence. 

You need & want to make a lasting difference???

"What Are You Saying?"

On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he was conceived.

Luke 2:21 NIV

Sometimes we rush to call a person something they are not, we rush to a put a title on a relationship too soon.

Take advantage of time, give it time. You need time to think and to see how you really about the person, about that relationship BEFORE you publicly start acknowledging it as any one thing.

What's the rush?

What's in a name?

Everything actually....NOT only is it what that person will be called, it is what that person will be thought of from now on.

Every name carries a meaning that will be echoed, re-inforced into the atmosphere every time it's spoken. 

Some of you have no idea what you're speaking into the atmosphere every time you say that certain person's name or the name you have given them, and/ or the relationship. 

You just don't know what you are saying....

Remember, Death & Life is in the power of the tongue. So, Can you really afford to NOT know what you're saying, releasing into the atmosphere?

Proverbs 18:21 NKJ

Remember Also, That even though Jesus' name was to be Jesus BEFORE he was even 

conceived according to the angel...

STILL there was an 8 day waiting period, and His name didn't officially become Jesus UNTIL circumcision took place, until some cutting away of some things happened, NOT until the child was circumcised. 

Think about it:

What sacrifice has been made for you really to call that person "that"?

What sacrifice has been made for you to call that relationship specifically this or that?

It's deeper than how you feel about that person or what just feels right when you say it.

What are you saying?

Simply put: The way to keep producing  good fruit, and increase in the Kingdom of God is to give.

You cannot be stingy or neglect a need when you have the resources to help and STILL EXPECT to prosper financially.

In fact, the bble says:

If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 

1 John 3:17‭-‬18 NIV 

God expects you to give...If you love God, give.

It must be more than just words when it comes to expressing the love of God that "supposedly " resides in you.

Give shirts to a child in need of decent clothes, give food to a child in need of food etc. by becoming a #WorldVision sponsor.

"A Father's Help"

Give us a father’s help when we face our enemies. For to trust in any man is an empty hope.

Psalms 108:12 TPT 

• (NIV) For human help is worthless.

People need people, true...

We need each other, yes we do...

But STILL there are times when even the sincerest person's help feels worthless, feels empty like even that is not enough. 

That's when hopefully you realize more than ever,  just how much you desperately need God, just how much you need your Heavenly father's help. 

You see, Psalm 108 was written by King David- someone who had been through many trials & tribulations in his day, he had been in enough situations in his day to know that, if God hadn't stepped in and helped, his story would have ended sooner rather than later.

But God....

It was God acting as a father that stepped in and gave David back what  the devil tried to steal, kill, and destroy.

Who am I talking to? Because God has done the same for you.

God didn't allow even the biggest lion, the biggest bear to steal what David had worked so hard to protect.

1 Samuel 17:34-37 NIV

Many of you, you have worked hard to protect what you have, too hard to allow the enemy to come in and steal it, just like that.

Your Heavenly Father will not allow you to be stolen from.

The hand that attacks you will be attacking God in this season.

Nothing you have will taken or destroyed in this season....I feel like prophesying.

The same God that was David's shepherd is leading you, fighting for you.

A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite... Beloved, No one is going to do it, if you don't  do it.

Think about how many people had already saw that man in need and passed him by....

Instead of helping the man...Perhaps, They decided  to look the other way,  because they were totally convinced that someone WOULD STOP and help him eventually.

It's amazing the things we can talk our minds into believing.

But what if, that Samaritian man had thought the same way everybody else was thinking and make the HORRIBLE DECISION to look the other way too and NOT help?

That poor man would have died on the side of the road like a nameless piece of roadkill; died as if, he was NOT a human being with a name, with a face, with feelings.

Now what if, that man was a child waiting to be sponsored?

Some of these precious children have been waiting over a year for a good Samaritian like you to help them.

It really breaks my heart, as I think about the days that have gone by... and I wonder with each day that goes by, how that makes that child feel KNOWING that no one (NOT one person) wants to help them, or cares enough to help them?

These are children, I'm talking about...God's love gift to us!!! 

Psalm 127:3 TPT

It hurts to know that a child somewhere is crying themselves to sleep as they wait for a sponsor, wait for the help they need to come.

In Hebrews 11:6 from the Message bible: God lets us know that HE'S NOT LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE....HE ACTUALLY DOES CARE ENOUGH to respond to us.

God lets us know yet again that He is NOT like us.

You see, God doesn't wait to follow someone elses lead, BEFORE He decides to do something.

No, He leads the way...

He doesn't wait to see, if someone else will become the way....He doesn't wait to see, if someone else will stop and help.

He doesn't wait to see, if someone will sponsor one of these precious children NOT when He is pricking  your heart to do it.

"We Support You"

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 

John 19:25 NIV 

When Jesus was on The Cross going through what he went through, he had people there at the foot The Cross emotionally supporting him.

They wanted to see him make it, they wanted to see him make it down off that Cross.

And just like Jesus had those who were in his corner, praying for him, those who would be there til the end; whatever that meant and whatever he needed.

You have people who support you too. We want to see you make it, we want to see you get pass The Cross you are currently bearing. 

We want to see you happy again and the pain of it all, be a distant memory of a lesson learned.

We are not all haters...

Sure, You have those who are laughing at where life has landed you, but they don't know what's going to come knocking on their door.... Their laughing just might end up being very costly.

I remember how a group of boys laughed at Elisha and their young lives were cut short.

2 Kings 2:23-24 NIV

I remember how the bible says: David's wife despised him in her heart. And because of how she felt secretly in her heart towards her husband...

SHE WAS NEVER ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN.

2 Samuel 6:16-23 NIV

You, being a Child Of God...It's dangerous for them to laugh or to feel some kinda of way about you that goes against what the bible teaches which is for us to love each other,  for us to sincerely love each other, NO FAKING.

John 15:12, Rom 12:9 NIV

Nevertheless, You do have an emotional support system that's for real...Those of us who are praying for you, pulling for you, committed to doing whatever is necessary to ensure that you make it.

As for Jesus, He made it down off that Cross...Now, I would like to tell you, he was UNHARMED, but that's NOT the case.

You see, There are some situations in life that requires pain...And even though,  it was and is still very painful at times...

SOMEBODY: You need to know, there is life after the pain.

Just embrace the changes as best you can, go on,  and LIVE.

11/20/21 "More Than Just Healing"

Jairus' daughter was sick, in need of healing. So, Jesus went to his house and healed her upon hearing his plea for help, but he didn't stop there... After healing her, He told them to give her something to eat.

Mark 5:40-43 NIV

Now, Jesus could have considered his purpose for being at Jairus' house complete when he healed his 12 year old daughter's body. After all, that's what Jairus pleaded with him to do.

He could have walked away, feeling like he had accomplished something. 

But NOT Jesus...He sensed that the girl was hungry and needed food to replenish the nutrients she had lost during her illness.

So, He told them to give her something to eat...Of course, He could have given her something to eat himself....

But He wanted EVERYBODY still present in the room to participate in making sure this child was not only healed, but whole, making sure she was well.

You see, Beloved we all have more of a responsibility than we would like to admitt.

We just can't go around 1/2 doing things when we sense that there is a need more than what is visible at the time.

It might even be more than the person themselves can say....

But we have to be sensitive enough to the leading of the Holy Spirit and do what we can do to complete the task in FULL.

Remember, A healing is NOT in FULL (completed)...If the person still needs something to eat, still needs shelter, etc.

"Pre-Meditated"

Naomi told Orpah and Ruth to leave her, to go back to their hometown. So, When Orpah actually did it...There was nothing Naomi could say, whether she really wanted her to go or not.

Ruth 1:3-14 NIV

Have you ever felt like you shouldn't have said what you said?

Have you ever regretted your words and the actions that followed?

Well, we will never know for sure, if Naomi regretted the words she spoke to her daughter-in-law or not.

But I feel led to tell somebody...Your words DID NOT trigger that person's actions....They already had in mind to do, what they did.

Could it be that Orpah already had it in mind to leave Naomi & Ruth and return home, but she was hesitant, NOT wanting to disappoint her mother-in-law?

What if Orpah had been secretly looking for a way out every since Naomi 1st started talking about them going to Bethlehem, but she didn't know how to express her feelings without disappointing her mother-in-law?

Beloved, Tell that devil that keeps trying to accuse you...It's Not Your Fault.

You can't keep a person in a place they don't want to be...No matter how much you want it for them.

So, You had to let them go, Naomi had to let Orpah go back to her hometown, if that's what she wanted to do.

Because believe me... There is nothing worse than trying to hold on to someone whose body is there with you, but whose mind is so far from you.

Their body is there with you, but their mind is so far from you, their mind is out there; causing them to think a certain way and become this person you don't even know.

Remember the bible says:

For as he thinks within himself, so is he....

Proverbs 23:7 TPT 

"So is he" meaning that's the person they have become based on what they were thinking, based on thoughts that became actions.

So, No more regretting the words that came out your mouth.

They already had their actions planned out....It was pre-meditated. 

Your words just finally gave them "the excuse" they needed to follow through.

That's all, nothing more.

So, Andrew spoke up and said,“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.”....And just like that, Jesus feed 5 thousand from what started out as just a boy's lunch.

Think with me:

 If Jesus could use a boy's lunch to feed 5 thousand....I wonder, what He could do with the little we have?

Really we have no excuse...

Remember. The bible tells us:

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin....

Zechariah 4:10 NLT 

BELOVED, What you think of as small beginnings is ENOUGH for the Lord to rejoice.

He rejoices when He sees us doing what the boy in John 6 did without hesitation...He rejoices when He sees us giving something as small as our lunch or our lunch money, money we would have spent carelessly on fast food etc. 

Instead, We give it in that moment to help someone who is in a greater need than us.

He rejoices when He sees us (His Servants) doing the work  of The Kingdom.

Do you know how many souls you can win for Jesus simply by being there with the smallest gesture?

You see, You don't always need to talk Jesus...Sometimes you just need to demonstrate Jesus.

I'm sure that boy had NO THOUGHTS of feeding 5 thousand...He simply just gave what he had to Jesus.

Simply give what you have to Jesus, to #WorldVision-a Christian organization that STANDS for #Jesus and are diligent in feeding the children, diligent in restoring, in equipping communities with clean water, educational programs etc.

Imagine your impact on one child's life when they receive a letter, a picture from you and realize someone they don't even know is willing to sacrifice for them so that they can have what they need. What a witness!!!

"Recovery"

When David and his men came to Ziklag, they found the city burning. Their wives, sons, and daughters were all gone. The Amalekites had taken them. David and the other men in his army cried loudly until they were too weak to cry anymore. 

1 Samuel 30:3‭-‬4 ERV

David knows how it feel to lose your spouse, that person you were so used to being there when you came home, being there when you got up in the morning. 

David knows how it feels to be without your children, to not know their exact whereabouts; if they are really safe or not.

David understands how it feels to wake up to a nightmare and have to cry yourself to sleep at night.

Sometimes you just need to know that you are not alone and that somebody understands your tears.

May I remind you that the God you serve values your tears...He collects every tear of yours in his bottle according to 

Psalm 56:8 TPT

And though, this might appear to be the roughest time of your life right now...I decree & declare that THIS is your recovery season.

UNDERSTAND THIS: When the devil wants to rob you of your sanity, get you to lose your focus...He attacks your family, he attacks your house. 

ON THE OTHER HAND: 

When he wants to block you from doing something,  stop you from obtaining something...He attacks your finances.

And you, Beloved, You have survived BOTH with your sanity still in tact. You did not lose your mind or your focus.

As for your finances, the money is coming back in too, back into your home, back into your bank account etc. 

This is your recovery season....

Your season where your health will be restored...Because SOMEBODY all that crying & stressing has made you sick.

Your wounds will heal.

Jere 30:17 NKJ

Keep your heart in the presence of God...He heals the wounds of every shattered heart. 

Psalms 147:3 TPT 

For Example:

The woman in John 4, Jesus never physically touched her, but he called out all the dysfunctional relationships.

By the time, He finished speaking truth to her brokenness, she was changed, healed.

Brokenness can heal..No matter how long you've been broken.

This Is Your Recovery Season.

Jesus understood the importance of having the children come, the importance of not hindering them. 

Jesus understood  for The Kingdom  to experience growth and continue  progressing forward....There must be children.

We put so much importance on money, on financial gain...But our real inheritance lies within our children.

Behold, children are a heritage and gift from the Lord, The fruit of the womb a reward. 

Psalms 127:3 AMP 

Think about it:

If there were NO CHILDREN not only would The Kingdom of God be hindered....

But this world would end prematurely without the birth, nourishment, and growth of children to keep it going from generation to generation. 

The devil knows this...That's why the attack on our children is SO GREAT worldwide, NOT just here, in The States.

Beloved, You have been blind for too long...It 's time to wake up and see what the devil is trying to do.

He's trying to stop our children from coming to Jesus....He's trying to stop them for coming into THE BEST part of themselves.

"When It's Finished'

Jesus told the Father to forgive them for they know NOT what they do.... But He NEVER said, He would  get on The Cross and let them treat him like that again. Instead, He said, "It Is Finished."

John 19:30 NIV

Luke 23:34 NKJ 

Beloved, You have to learn that when it's finished, it is finished...UNTIL OR UNLESS God tells you different. 

It is finished....

NO MORE making excuses, blaming yourself for changing your mind and deciding to put yourself 1st.

Everybody has a boiling point, a point where they realize something must be done, before an even bigger mess is created.

Have you ever left water boiling on the stove too long?

What happened? The heat coming from the stove caused the water to boil over and create a mess that needed to be cleaned up.

SOMEBODY: That's what you're doing now...You're cleaning up the mess that was made, so that you can heal.

You see, Just because you allowed them to treat you that way one time does NOT mean you have to keep subjecting yourself to the same thing over and over again.

For Jesus, The Cross was a ONE TIME thing...He NEVER said, He would be willing to endure that type of pain again.

But He did say,  "It is Finished" and to forgive...

Forgive meaning that EVERY day you are going to renew your mind in the Word Of God. 

Rom 12:2 NIV

Renew your mind meaning let God teach you how to stop holding on to that grudge, teach you how to stop being offended by something they said or did.

In doing so:

• You're NOT setting yourself up to be hurt again.

• And you're certainly NOT helping them get over on  you again, by choosing to forgive.

• You're NOT a weak individual. 

• You will NOT re-live any of what you've been through.

It just means that you're strong enough now to STOP trying to fight your own battle and give it to God.

Exodus 14:14

Let God repay what needs to be repaid and judge what needs to judged.

But as for you, It's  time to start again right from where you are..

It's time you began your healing process and MOVE ON.

Because when it's finished...It is finished.

Beloved,

There's nothing about you that catches God by surprised, there is nothing you can say or do to shock Him because He already knows everything about you.

It's all written in His book...

And you thought, the things you're facing now were unscripted.

But God says, How can it be unscripted when I know the end from the beginning?

Isaiah 46:9-10 NKJ

How can it be unscripted when I have promised you an expected end?

Jere 29:11 KJV

Expect it to end whatever you're going through....

Expect it to end...

Expect it to come to screeching halt.

In the meantime, Begin to say like Jesus when  Satan was trying to tempt Him in EVERY area imaginable...."It Is Written".

It's not unscripted. 

It Is Written.

God knew this day would be, but He also knows YOU.

SOMEBODY: God knows you. 

He knows you have what it takes to make it. This too shall pass, come to a screeching halt. 

Screeching halt- to make a loud and very high sound when stopping a car.

A car -a moving object.

God says, He's bringing to a screeching halt that thing that came at you fast & hard.

"He Understands You"

And at three o’clock Jesus shouted with a mighty voice in Aramaic, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” —that is, “My God, My God, why have you deserted me?” Some who were standing near the cross misunderstood and said, “He’s calling for Elijah.” One bystander ran and got a sponge, soaked it with sour wine, then put it on a stick and held it up for Jesus to drink. But the rest said, “Leave him alone! Let’s see if Elijah comes to rescue him.” Jesus passionately cried out, took his last breath, and gave up his spirit. 

Matthew 27:46‭-‬50 TPT 

In the final moments of his life here on earth as a Man...Jesus knew what it felt like to be deserted, to be forsaken, to be left alone.

So, when He says in Deut 31:8 NIV "I will never leave you nor forsake you"...Jesus who is God is saying to you, I will NEVER do to you what was done to me; I will NEVER do to you what others have done because I understand how you feel.

He understands you because he has been you, emotionally he has felt what you're feeling; whatever you're feeling.

Remember, Hebrews 4:15 from the (CEV) says, Jesus understands every weakness of ours....

(AMP) says,  He knows exactly how it feels to be human in every respect as we are, yet without committing any sin. 

So, Stop feeling like no one understands you, or knows what you're going through. 

Take your eyes off people and what you feel people don't understand about this season of your life.

Stop talking to them; answering your phone for them and look to Jesus, keep looking to Jesus and take it all, one day at a time.

It's one thing to be looking to somebody you have to constantly explain yourself to...But it's totally different, when you're  looking to somebody you know understands...He understands you.

"Burning Coals"

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.

Beloved, The kindness you are showing them in spite of how they've been to you is more than they can stand.

Mentally, your behavior is weighing on their mind like  burning coals being heaped on their head; burning with questions they don't understand. 

They don't understand how you can still be so nice...After they have been so wrong towards you.

They just don't understand you and their guilt makes them think you are guilty of something too...Guilty of something OTHER than trying to be like Christ and carry your cross in this season, even though it hurts.

You are literally being forced to carry something that's heavy, something that is hurtful to your flesh, the same way Simon was forced to carry Jesus' cross.

Matthew 27:32 NIV

Simon had done NOTHING to suggest he deserved to have or needed to have that type of pain  inflicted on him, but there he was in the situation. 

Still, You need to know that the Lord is going to reward you...

Every time you put your flesh in check and do what thus saith the Lord and NOT what people would have for you to do.

The Lord is going to reward you.

You are becoming STRONGER because of this.

Think about Jesus:

He was even STRONGER after "The Cross" because now he had walked this earth as a man and made it through, scars and all.

After which, He was able to go and witness to Thomas who was doubting. One day, This will ALL be a powerful testimony...You will be able to witness to others as well. 

John 20:26-28 NIV

"1st With God"

SOMEBODY: All you ever wanted was to come 1st with your spouse. 

All you ever wanted was to come 1st, be chosen 1st by that high school coach who  seemed to always pick somebody else and  give them a chance to shine, but never you.

Growing up even, playing kid games, the kids always chose someone else to be on their team.

You were never picked 1st, never chosen 1st...You never came 1st.

You're so tired of being an after thought, if a thought at all in the minds of those who should know better and treat you better.

Beloved,  I know it hurts, but God wants you to know:

HE DID CHOOSE YOU 1ST....He has not forgotten you or overlooked you for someone else.

For the bible says:

Even BEFORE he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. 

Ephesians 1:4 NLT 

You know what that tells me?

It tells me that God chose you 1st....Then he made the world. The world DID NOT come 1st. YOU came 1st, which means there is NOTHING in the world more important to God than YOU.

The message bible puts it like this: Long BEFORE he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.

Ephesians 1:3‭-‬6 MSG 

He had us in mind...

which means he had YOU in mind..He chose you 1st.

As a matter of fact, Jeremiah 29:11 NKJ talks about the thoughts God thinks toward you...Thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Why? Because you matter to God more than this world, more than giving the earth its foundation.

You come 1st in the eyes of God.

Therefore, Be healed of the pain others caused, when they chose not to pick you, to not put you 1st.

"Be Aware Of Your Words"

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. 

Proverbs 18:21 AMP 

KNOW what's coming out of your mouth at all times because every word has the potential to produce death.

And death is not always physical...There are some people right now completely devastated over words spoken to them years ago,  devastated over words spoken to them as a child. 

Toxic words they can't forget. Toxic words that is costing them time LIVED, happily and so it in a sense, it is a form of death.

Have you ever said something in anger or frustration and immediately lost your appetite or you felt sick? 

What if that was your body's way of mentally digesting what you said, causing you to eat the fruit of the words you put out there?

Beloved, Be aware of what you're saying at all times because your words have power. This goes for me too...I MUST WATCH MY MOUTH.

Think about it: 

What if David had been someone who is easily hurt (and we all know someone like that),

someone who is easily offended....

When his older brother, Eliab called him conceited & wicked, calling the sheep under his leadership little and few...

1 Samuel 17:28-29 NIV

Do you know how much damage that could have done to David mentally? 

Do you know how much damage, Eli as a priest could have done to Hannah mentally when he went off on her for being drunk in the temple?

1 Samuel 1:9-17 NIV

Some of you are carrying church hurt right now because of words spoken to you by a pastor, a leader, a church mother who had NO SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT or was just plain insensitive. 

Words hurt....We may not be able to erase the pain, but we can RECALL our words like a manufacturer recalling a product from the shelves for fear of the harm it has caused. God will do the rest.

"We Are All Here"

The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 

Acts 16:27 NIV 

Beloved,

Stop taking the pain personally upon yourself. What happened is NOT your fault.

Believe me, you haven't lost anyone that really counts, that really matters....We are all here.

All of us, who have been assigned to your life...We are still here.

The jailer (in the text) was about to take his own life because he thought those assigned to his prison ministry were gone.

Now, they could have left, walked out...But for whatever reason, they chose to stay. Even though, it meant their personal freedoms would be limited once again.

You see, Those assigned to you will stay, in spite of the consequences....Because PAIN DON'T CHANGE a real commitment, when it is a real commitment; hardship doesn't change a real commitment. 

Ruth was assigned to Naomi and was committed to stay with her wherever she went to the end of her days.

Ruth 1:16-17 NIV

Elisha was assigned to Elijah's life and committed to following him...Even though, it meant leaving his family behind.

The same with MOST of the disciples & Jesus.

Matthew 4:18-22 

1 Kings 19:19-21 NIV 

Whether it's a ministry assignment, a marriage  commitment, or a vow of friendship....Commitment when it's real is NEVER easy,

but somehow what comes easy always proves to be NOT as worth it.

Therefore, Those of us who are assigned  to your life, really meant to be a part of your life... We are all here, we are still here.

Sticking & staying close in spite of the consequences.  We have made our choice. 

The pain may be personal, but it's NOT permanent.

"He Is Concerned"

I know you're not used to somebody being  concerned about you, being really concerned about what you're going through.

The people you thought were genuinely concerned about you, proved to NOT be so genuine after all.

So, Now you are associating those same ill feelings with God...You just can't believe that God would be concerned about you.

But just like God was concerned about his people suffering in Egypt and raised up Moses to speak to Pharaoh (their oppressor) on his behalf saying....

 “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. 

So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— So now, go. I am sending you (Moses) to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” 

Exodus 3:7‭-‬10 NIV 

BELOVED, God  has seen your misery...He has heard you crying out. 

Therefore, He is going to raise up somebody to give into your bossom, NOT just financially, but to give- as in assisting you wherever there is a need.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. 

Luke 6:38 KJV 

Why? 

Because God does not enjoy watching you suffer. He is NOT insensitive to your feelings.

If it concerns you, then it concerns Him and He will perfect that which concerns you. 

Psalms 138:8 NKJ

He is directing your steps (through it all)... He delights in every detail of your life. 

Psalms 37:23 NLT 

So, You just need to TRUST HIM...

Sorry about ALL those who came into your life, faking like they were concerned...When they were really just there for what they could learn about you; TWIST the facts and use it against you.

God is not like that...God is not a man that he should LIE.

Think About It..Receive It.

"Come Closer"

Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.” When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”

Exodus 3:2‭-‬4 NIV

Earlier this week, God by way of his Holy Spirit ever so gently whispered to me and said, "You know, that burning bush was ME inviting Moses to come closer."

And just like that... I was blown away by such a powerful, but unexpected revelation.

All this time, I thought Moses was just nosey and God set that bush on fire, because he knew Moses was nosey and that would get his attention.

It never occurred to me that it was an invitation, a chance for Moses to get closer to God.

Here, Moses was 80 years old, standing, listening to God communicate with him through the flames of a burning bush.

And even though, it was something strange, something different for him...Still he was there, listening & receiving in that moment.

It was all about the experience...

All about the chance to get closer to God, NOT to the bush, but to God.

You see, Some Of You ONLY want "The Bush"-that which can be seen and draw the most attention.

But it was never about the bush itself... That's why the bush didn't burn up and Moses remained unharmed.

Now think about your own life....

It was never about what your physical eyes could see, but what God was and is doing in the Spirit realm to draw you closer, to draw that unsaved loved one closer to him.

Moses assignment given to him as he came closer to God (not the bush) and really listened to what God had to say to him about going to Pharaoh and bringing his people out of Egypt.

Exodus 3:10 NIV

Which makes me wonder, who or what could get set free, delivered on your watch?....If you would just pay attention and be willing to come closer in spite of how things look, in spite of how thngs appear to be right now.

Now is not the time to become timid and pull away from God.

He's calling you closer on purpose. Come near to God and he will come near to you..

James 4:8 NIV

"Q & A"

 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” And he said, “Who told you that you were naked?

With so much going on right now...Where are you mentally?

Can you even think straight?

Are you battling fear? Are you like Adam hiding out in your home afraid, trying to process all the info you have been exposed to in this season via the news media, via social media? 

Whose right?

Whose wrong?

Is there even a right or wrong answer?

Seems like there is NO WHERE you can hide from hearing something that will wreck your nerves, if you are not careful.

More than ever you must stay prayed up and FILLED with the Word of God.

More than food, more than water in this season....You need a prayer life, you need the Word of God.

According to Google, you and I can go 8 to 21 days without food & water, but Joshua 1:8 CEV tells us to:

Never stop reading The Book of the Law he gave you. Day and night you must think about what it says...

Beloved, It's your thinking they are trying to infect, trying to contaminate. Can't  you see? 

Tune out to what they're saying constantly/consistently. Don't let them drill fear into your head.

Never stop reading, meditating on God and the things of God, and pray.

Otherwise, like Adam...You too will appear naked, NOT having what you need to cover you, to keep you in this season.

And God via His Holy Spirit will be forced to ask you the same question he asked Adam.

Who told you, you were naked?

Left without a covering at a time, when so much is happening.

Who told you that?

Whose report will you believe?

"Forever ❌"

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 

Mark 5:25 KJV 

She had an issue, she was NOT the issue she had...That alone is something to really think about.

How many times have we been guilty of judging someone based on what they're struggling with, based on the issue they have?

And In doing so, I wonder how many times we have unknowingly missed out on really getting to know someone who was truly beautiful?

A beautiful person who very well could have been a blessing to our lives had we allowed them to be,  allowed them to be themselves aside from their struggle, aside from their issue.

So thankful God is NOT like man...He's not judgmental like us, but God gives us all a chance by CHOOSING to look at our hearts and NOT what's on the outside; out there, available to the public for public criticism.

1 Samuel 16:7

Because the truth is, We have all been flawed by life in some way or another; causing us to NOT be the best judge of character. 

1 Samuel 16: 

Look at how quickly Samuel misjudged Eliab and was ready to promote him into a position that God had NOT approved.

But notice also how quickly God checked Samuel and let him know:

In spite of what you're looking at and think you see in Eliab...He is NOT the one. He has NOT been chosen.

God had chosen David:

• David-The one who had an issue with people and was more comfortable out in the field tending to His father's sheep.

• David-The one who struggled with being the "black sheep" of the family.

• The one who they looked at as an outsider. 

• The one who had to fight off the attacks of lions & bears daily.

That's the one God chose. 

Imagine who you and I would chose to befriend, if we could really see what God sees.

So, From now on let US make a decision NOT to judge a person just because we know their issue, or  heard about what they're struggling with. 

It's impossible to google a person's heart....

Some info ONLY God can provide, and God chose David, NOT Eliab.

"Temptation "

Feeling tempted in the moment does not make it sin....It makes you human.

In the words of Pastor Keith Moore, "Being Tempted is not a sin." Think about it!

You see, It's not about what you felt in the moment, but about what you said or did in response to how you were feeling in the moment that determines, if it is SIN OR NOT.

If you felt like going off on somebody and cussing them out...BUT INSTEAD, You got up and walked out the door without saying a WORD.

Beloved, That's not sin. The sin is not in the temptation itself...

Many times Jesus was tempted when he walked this earth.

He was tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

Hebrews 4:15 NIV 

So, The sin is not in being tempted or even in how you felt in the midst of the temptation.

Because the bible slso let's us know that it's okay to be angry.

Be angry, and do NOT sin. 

Ephesians 4:26 NKJ

• Being angry is not a sin.

• Being tempted is not a sin.

Again, It's how you respond to it, how you respond to the temptation, how you respond to the anger that determines, if it's SIN OR NOT.

What you say or do when tempted, when you're angry makes all the difference.

That's why Jesus could tell the woman in John 8 to "Go and sin no more"....

He didn't have a problem dropping the charges, as long as she didn't GO & DO the same thing as before.

How she would respond to being free and possibly starting her life over; clean in the coming days, weeks etc was up to her.

And Beloved, It's up to you now.  Temptation will always be there, but how will you respond?

Get that IN YOUR SPIRIT‼

8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

7 He will keep you from every form of evil or calamity as he continuously watches over you.

8 You will be guarded by God himself. You will be safe when you leave your home, and safely you will return. He will protect you now, and he’ll protect you forevermore!

NOT angels....

But God Himself...

Get that IN YOUR SPIRIT‼

God Himself will be guarding you, keeping you safe when you leave the house & safely you will

return.

I  Decree & Declare over every  body under the sound of my voice.

NO WEAPON formed against your mind shall prosper in this season.

 NO WEAPON formed against your body, against your immune system shall prosper in this season.

But EVERY tongue that rises up against you in judgment....

You shall condemn.

Every tongue on The NEWS that trying to get you to fear is against you.

• Against your  mental health. 

• Against your physical health.

But you can condemn EVERY WORD that rolls off their tongue by release the Word of God in response to what they said.

God Himself is guarding me, watching over me....

He will keep my life.

Therefore I shall NOT Die, but Live.

 You are so important to God that He's NOT sending angels to guard you in this season, but God Himself will be guarding you.

Don't wait until something happens and you are forced to deal with your issue....

The way that Naaman was forced to deal with his anger as a result of having leprosy and his healing NOT manifesting in the way he thought it would.

Whatever your issue, NOW is the time to be honest with yourself about it.

NOW in this month of August (the 8th month)...8 being NEW BEGINNINGS. 

God is calling you to a new beginning....Stop ignoring that you have an issue; calling it "faith." That is NOT faith.

Sometimes the greatest example of faith is you showing up doing the work necessary to change.  

So, If you have an anger issue like Namaan... FIND SOMEBODY to talk to that's qualified to help you in the area of anger management. 

If you have been diagnosed with some form of depression etc. Whatever your issue... FIND SOMEBODY to talk to that's qualified to help you.

Notice in the text: 

Naaman's servants came and talked some sense into him and that's what shifted his anger and got him to obey Elisha (the man of God).

2 Kings 5:13‭-‬14 NIV 

But why were they (of all people) able to calm Naaman's anger?

I really believe God anointed them and appointed them specifically to deal with Naaman and his anger.

You see, According to 1 Corinthians 12:7 NLT:

A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

So, Don't be ashamed. This is Your New Beginning.... FIND SOMEBODY that can help you, work on you.

Knowing Too Much Is Dangerous lll

"You're Not Ready"

Before, Adam & Eve KNEW they were naked...They were confident, secure in their relationship, unashamed of their bodies and enjoying fellowship with God.

Genesis 3

But all that changed, the minute they ate the fruit and discovered they were naked.

Sin caused them to be uncovered BOTH physically & emotionally for the 1st time, sin put them in a place of vulnerability.

A place they weren't ready for, they weren't ready to see themselves naked; to know themselves COMPLETELY, FULLY like that, for the 1st time.

They weren't ready...Just like you aren't ready to know some things about yourself, you're not ready to know ALL of what's next for you.

Beloved, What if God against his own better judgment were to answer ALL YOU QUESTIONS PRE-MATURELY what's to stop you from feeling some type of way?

What's to stop you reeling out of control emotionally...If you were to hear or feel a check in YOUR SPIRIT that contradicts what you think you want or need at this time, rather than confirm it?

As strong as you think you are...Most likely, You'll start feeling some type a way. You'll start feeling discouraged. You'll start looking around, envying others and before you know it...

You have LOST interest in the things GOD told you to do.

Psalm 73:2-3 NIV

Now, You are no longer active in your process, active in your journey towards becoming....

Instead, You are bailing out on the process because things are not manifesting fast ENOUGH FOR YOU.

God knows you...

He knows what you are emotionally mature enough to take right now without losing it, in the middle of your process, in middle of your journey.

You just remember...

Delayed doesn't mean denied.

It just means you need more to time to grow up (You're not ready as it says in 1 Corin 3:2 NIV) to go from the milk of THE WORD to the meat- chewing and digesting truth.

All the while, STILL trusting in God, that he who began a good work IN YOU will complete it....
