"It's Not A Waste "

10] Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 

11] Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. 

12] When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” 

13] So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.”

John 6:10-13 NIV

SOMEBODY:

You might feel like you're in a wasted season, like EVERYTHING you're going through is a waste of your time & God's energy. That's how much it doesn't make sense, none of it makes sense.

Your tears have been your food day & night. (Psalms 42:3 NIV) and among your many questions, one question STAYS ON REPEAT in your mind, "Where is God" in all of this?

THE ANSWER:

God is preparing you for the miracle you need.

In John 6: Jesus had to prepare the people to receive, BEFORE they actually partook in the miracle of the 5 loaves & 2 fish.

The Preparation Process found in John 6:10-11 NIV:

👉1. Sit Down

👉2. Take what you have or something that represents what you are believing to have.

👉3. Place it in your hands and give thanks. Thanks being the password to enter His presence. 

Psalm 100:4 MSG

4. In His presence, Believe God to release, to distribute more than you need.

This season is not a waste; pieces from it all are being gathered to be reused at a later date. You're in the 1st stage of your testimony, but THIS THING is really bigger than you can imagine. God is doing more than you could ever think or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), even if it doesn't look like it or feel like it right now.

"The Gate Is Opened"

1] One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. 

2] Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. 

Acts 3:1-2 NIV

Pay attention to your surroundings and to the time in which you arrived where you are.

The lame man was carried to the gate to beg, but the time in which he was carried there is key. HE WAS CARRIED THERE, PUT THERE (Every Day) AT THE TIME OF PRAYER.

The lame man was put in position to truly receive everything he needed far beyond money.

Even if Peter & John hadn't responded to him...He was still in  position to receive the prayers he heard as the worshipers opened the gate and entered the temple every day. 

Beloved,

God says, THE GATE IS OPENED!!

You are just where you need to be. SOMEBODY is praying for you and all you need to do is receive it. Every thing in this life is NOT about silver & gold as Peter so graciously pointed out in Acts 3:6 NIV

👉15] And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 

James 5:15 NIV

The Gate Is Opened!!

👉16] Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

James 5:16 NIV

The Gate Is Opened!!

👉16] The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

James 5:16 NIV

👉(KJV) The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 

The Gate Is Opened, but will your faith ALLOW you to receive with no strings attached?

You are not where you are, at a time like this for nothing.

God positioned you to receive, so receive.

"Lord, Save Me!!"

25] Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.

 26] When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. 

27] But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” 

28] “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” 

 29] “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 

30] But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!"

Matthew 14:25-30 NIV

Peter was about to self-destruct and find himself "head over hills" in some water he couldn't swim in. So from the pit of his soul, he cried out, "Lord, Save Me!!" 

You see, when the situation is really real and you feel overwhelmed.. You have no time for pride, for ego, you have no time to stop and see whose watching. INSTEAD, something inside of you knows that even if I must risk being humiliated, so be it. "Lord, Save Me!!" 

Now, the process must have seemed  like forever to Peter (a few seconds can seem like an eternity, when you're scared)...But the bible says: Immediately, Jesus stretched out his hand and saved Peter. (Matt 14:31 NIV)

Jesus was able to (strong enough to) grab Peter's hand and pull him through...Even though,  Peter's faith had been servely shaken, still Jesus was merciful just as He is with us.

Focus Points:

•You cannot save yourself.

•When you are not strong enough...Jesus is.

•Your faith will be shaken sometimes...Don't panic.

•His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

2 Corin 12:9 NKJ

"Desperate Enough"

Beloved,

Are you desperate enough to come to Jesus just as you are?

Not hiding behind your title, your social status, or the strong person everybody BELIEVES you to be...But as you really are right now.

Are you desperate enough to come to Jesus just as you are?....And watch something get healed in your house.

22] Jairus came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. 

23] He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” 

24] So Jesus went with him.

Mark 5:22-24 NIV 

AND  just when it looks like Jairus' greatest prayer request was about to be answered.

Another issue came up, an issue with a woman in the crowd.

See: Mark 5:25-34 KJV

Somebody needs to know that what looks like a delay is really just a divine adjustment.

Jesus honored the woman in the crowd's faith, by making a divine adjustment in His original plan to include her.

SOMEBODY:

You may not have been a part of the original plan, but your faith has made room for you to be included.

Stay focused...

Don't get discouraged when others prayer request gets answered and you're still waiting.

Jairus was still waiting when Jesus overheard what "they" said and told Jarius to don't be afraid; believe.

Mark 5:36 NIV

I know a lot is going on right now, more than you feel able to understand at this time, but...

👉Trust the Holy Spirit. 

👉Trust that everything going on right now is of the Holy Spirit. 

👉No one is trying to make a fool out of you or misuse you.

👉You do have a major role that must be played out.

👉You are not being misused, but you are being used.

Even though, you may not be able to accurately put a name on what's being birthed right now...Trust God in your desperation, trust God with your desperation!!

 "I Wish You Joy!!"

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Nehemiah 8:10 NIV

And many of you that's what you need...You need the joy of the Lord - something that's going to give you strength.

Happiness is good, but happiness doesn't provide you with any kind of strength.

So, I wish you joy!!

Beloved,

Forget those things which are behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead....

Philip 3:13 NKJV

I need you to keep that mindset of looking ahead and DO NOT get pulled back into the past like Lot's wife (Gen 19:26)

SOMEBODY needs you to endure the cross of what you're going through so that they can endure theirs, you need to be able to wipe your face (wipe your tears), so that they can wipe theirs.

Your life is ministering to somebody without you even saying a word. They are watching 👀 your actions, following your lead. So be mindful that you're not just going through what you're going through for you. It's for somebody else too!!

💛 In several places in the Word of God, tears are associated with joy:

💛 Psalms 126:5-6 NIV

[5] Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. [6] Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

💛 Psalms 30:5 NKJV

Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

So, Endure what you're going through and get ready to receive the joy promised to you.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

Psalms 23:1 NKJV

If you are a Christian...

God doesn't want you to want.

You shall not want.

The bible defines "not want" in this scripture as lacking nothing. (NIV)

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 

God doesn't want you to want.

You shall not want.

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 

God doesn't want you to want. 

You shall not want.

What man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! ”

Matthew 7:7-11 NKJV

God doesn't want you to want.

You shall not want.

I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Wanting is a sin"...

Wanting is a sin when you serve a God "BIG" enough to deliver.

You do not have because you do not ask God. 

James 4:2 NIV

And then, in 1 Timothy 6:17 NIV The bible talks about how God richly gives us ALL things to enjoy.

Beloved,

God doesn't want you to want.

You shall not want.

"Loving You Through Your Trauma"

[15] So Elisha said, “Call her.” When Gehazi had called her, she stood in the doorway. [16] Then Elisha said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!”

II Kings 4:15-16 NKJV

Keep in mind....

God is our father 1st, above everything else.

So, He sometimes chooses to give us time to grow into the prophecy, time to grow into what He promised rather than overwhelm us all at once.

In ll Kings 4: The Shununmite woman's response leads me to believe that she had experienced some type of trauma in her past.

So, Rather than allow her to be overwhelmed with an immediate pregnancy announcement....

Elisha (The Man Of God) prophesied, "About this time next year...."

This is God...Loving the Shunammite woman through her trauma issues by givng her time (ONE YEAR) to process what she just heard, one year to receive what she just heard.

Beloved, The last thing God would do right now is add to your trauma and expect you to be okay.

He knows you need time to process what you just heard, time to receive what you just heard.

SOME OF YOU...

God knows you need time to just sit with what has become your reality... "that you may be able to bear it." 1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV
