12/29/24 "Tortured By The Truth"

12/29/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Tortured By The Truth"
[5] Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones. [6] When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. [7] He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God’s name don’t torture me!”
[8] For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!"
 Mark 5:5-8 NIV

Why is it we sometimes feel tortured by the truth?

Is it because we really don't want to accept that that's what it is?

Jesus spoke the truth to a man who had been struggling with the side effects of a demonic spirit....
But instead of feeling relieved that the truth was finally out. It was received as torture.

Beloved, God is not trying to torture you with the truth. Deep down you know that what you heard the Holy Spirit say to you in prayer was to put an end to "that thing" you've been struggling with.

You said, You want to be delivered. You said, You don't want to carry that thing, that same struggle into 2025, but the moment you feel that fast breaking your flesh- you get weak, you get weary and you give up.

But didn't the bible say,
It would take prayer & fasting for some things to come out!!
Matthew 17:21 NKJV

Don't give up!!
Deliverance is the breaking of your flesh because it was your flesh that desired that thing, desired that person, desired that substance etc.

SOMEBODY:
God said,
In order to heal your mind...
He's going to have to break your heart. That's the only way you will get delivered for that person once and for all and get back on track.

It may sound harsh and feel like torture to you, but really it's not. There comes a time when you must trust God even though he slay you.
Remember what Job said in
Job 13:15 KJV

Stay strong in the midst of your deliverance. 🙏

Until Next Sunday.

12/22/24 "Honor"

5 Minutes of Focus

"Honor"
[15] You could see my bones grow as my body took shape, hidden in my mother’s womb. [16] You watched my body grow there....
Psalms 139:15-16 MSG

Beloved,
It's a waste of time remembering who wasn't there for you growing up.

Instead, Honor Your Heavenly Father...
The one who has been there from the very start.

Before you had a name, before you had a personality of your own, before you were fully formed, you were in the growing stages in your mother's womb and there was God.

God was right there, watching you grow and He's still there, watching you grow and become the person He called you to be.
He promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Deut 31:8), so don't treat Him like The One who left, who wasn't there.

In the KJV, David talks about being unperfect, but God still was there, watching over him and in the (NLT) how God is thinking about him, and how when he wakes up he's still with God.

[16] Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; And in thy book all my members were written....Psalm 139:16 KJV

[17] How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! [18] I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
Psalm 139:17-18 NLT

Beloved, He's thinking about you and He's never left you.

So, Honor Your Heavenly Father's Presence...
It's been a good, good Father. Don't stay stuck in the past, in your childhood; HEAL...and don't let David out praise you!! 🤩

Merry Christmas!! 💜💕
Give Honor where honor is due.

Until Next Sunday.

12/15/24 "The Unknown Request "

12/15/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"The Unknown Request"
[21] So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. [22] Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
Genesis 2:21-22 NKJV

Imagine waking up to the very thing you needed, the thing you didn't know you needed, but you needed it and there it was. God somehow had managed to miraculously provide you with what you needed.

That's what happened to Adam. He didn't ask for Eve, he didn't even know to ask for Eve....But God knew what he needed. And so, God brought Eve to Adam without being asked.

Beloved,
You don't have to ask God for EVERYTHING. Like Adam, You don't even know what everything would be or look like, if you had to ask. So, don't.

The bible talks about us not knowing in Romans 8:
If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves....
Romans 8:26-28 MSG

Adam was so content naming the animals, making sure the animals had what they needed, to the point that (like some of you)....
Adam had no idea, he was neglecting what he needed for himself.

But God....
God in this season is answering the unknown request- that thing you need, but (perhaps) you don't even know to ask for.

The bible says,
It's going to happen BEFORE you call-before you open your mouth and say something....This is that day!!
Isaiah 65:24 KJV

"Help Yourself!!"
[14] After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. [15] So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. [16] He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
Luke 15:14-16 NIV

At 1st glance of the text, it may seem cruel that no one gave The Prodigal Son anything (not even the pods the pigs were eating) when he was in need.

● But sometimes God will stop people from helping you so that you can help yourself.

● Sometimes God will stop people from helping you so you will come to Him and acknowledge Him as your source.

● Sometimes God will stop people from helping so that you can find your way home.

He has not allowed you to be favored or chosen for the promotion, for the grant, for the (Christmas) bonus you feel entitled to. SOMEBODY:
At this point, You can't even get government assistance and as frustrating as it is...
Now you know why.

Let's go back over 3 reasons why this could be happening:

1. God wants you to help yourself and stop procrastinating.

2. God wants you to come to Him and acknowledge Him as your source.

3. God wants you to find your way home (and by home, He means salvation). REPENT and get back in right standing with Him. Matt 4:17 AMPC

So, When he came to his senses....The 1st thing The Prodigal Son did was acknowledge His Father as his source of more than enough. In His Father's house the servants had food to spare (more than enough).
Luke 15:17 NIV

The 2nd thing The Prodigal Son did was he rehearsed in his head what he wanted to say and then he got up (He got himself up unassisted) and went to His Father.
Luke 15:18-20 NIV

And last, but not least...
He repented by finally saying to His ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
Luke 15:21 NIV

Acknowledge Him, Get Up (Unassisted) and Repent!!
Praying for you.

12/1/24 "Pull On His Anointing

12/1/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Pull On His Anointing"
[35] While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?” [36] Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” [38] When they came to the home of (Jairus) the synagogue leader, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. [39] He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.”
Mark 5 NIV

Can you image the 1st thing Jesus sees when He comes to your house is a commotion?

That's how bible describes the atmosphere in Jairus' house....It was a commotion meaning - It was noisy and a Spirit of Confusion was in the atmosphere as they really did believe his daughter was dead.

So, Is your home noisy?

Is there some type of confusion going on in your house?

Ever wonder why things are the way they are in your house?

It's because you're close, you're so close to receiving the miracle you need.

Jairus was so close to receiving the miracle his daughter needed.

Jesus had agreed to go home with him (See: Mark 5:22-24 NIV) and things were finally looking up for this father & daughter...

But just when his hope had been restored, just when his faith was about to yield the results he desired.

Some people came from his house (It be the people from your own house), telling him his daughter is dead. To which, Jesus said to Jairus: "Don't be afraid, just believe."

The devil will use people from your own house to wreck your mood, to crush your hope, if you allow it.

But God, He wants you to keep on believing, He wants you to not be afraid.

The Closer You Get To Him, the closer you are to the miracle you're seeking. It's not a bother.

It was not a bother for Jesus to have Jairus there, pulling on His anointing and the woman with the issue of blood there, pulling on His anointing UNTIL virtue- healing power left His body when she touched his garment.(Mark 5:30 KJV)

So, Keep pulling in prayer...
You're not bothering Him.
You're only bothering Him when you give up.

Until Next Sunday.

11/24/24 "Thank You Is The Key"

11/24/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Thank You Is The Key"
[12] As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance [13] and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” [14] When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. [15] One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. [16] He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. [17] Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
Luke 17:12-17 NIV

If Jesus has healed you, delivered you from something you thought you'd be forced to carry for the rest of your life...

If Jesus has wiped the slate clean and given you a fresh start....Then you should be the 1st person running back to Him in prayer, in worship, in praise; thanking Him.

He shouldn't have to question your whereabouts, He shouldn't even have to talk about your absence.

His Holy Spirit shouldn't have to make you feel convicted. His Holy Spirit shouldn't have to grieve because of you.
Ephes 4:30, Acts 2:37

When you needed Him, He didn't have to chase you down....You were right there, crying out to Him for help.

When you needed Him, He didn't have to look for you...

You were there, pursuing Him. So, Don't switch up on Him now, keep that same hunger, that same desperation you had for Him then.

Thank you Is The Key.(Psalms 100:4 MSG) It's the entryway to a deeper fellowship with Jesus.

You can read about Him, you can know a thousand scriptures, but if your heart is not thankful....

Only those with a thankful heart are positioned to really go somewhere in God.

For Example:
David's heart was so thankful for all that God had done for him; chosing him to be King instead of Saul. And so, He praised danced UNTIL he was out of his clothes (naked) transparent before the Lord.
2 Samuel 6:14-23

When was the last time, you were transparent before the Lord?

11/17/24 "The Brook Is Drying Up "

11/17/24

● This is a portion of an email I received on 11/13.

5 Minutes of Focus

"The Brook Is Drying Up"
[7] Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. [8] Then the word of the Lord came to him: [9] “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.”
1 Kings 17:7-9 NIV

After 12 years as a BlogTalkRadio Host the brook is drying up, but just like God re-directed Elijah to the widow in Zarephath. I am being re-directed.

And God says,
Many of you would have received an email like this and got depressed.

Beloved,
Depression is not the answer, neither is worry.
Let God re-direct you. It's okay, no need to worry.

When one door closes, God opens another that no man can shut. (Rev 3:7-8 NIV).

So, Rather than look at this as the end of something. My perspective is filled with  possibilities, with the opportunity to learn new things and further this ministry on multiple different platforms. Hello #Spotify, #YouTube and of course, prolificfire.com

A Word 4 SOMEBODY:
If you're reading this:
Look at that change that has occurred or is occurring (in your life) with a different perspective, see it as an opportunity to learn something new that will help PUSH YOU to where you desire to be.

I will always be the prophetess, the preacher, the teacher...and you will always be that multiple faceted person God has called you to be.

But it's also time for me to learn to work a camera professionally, edit some ministry videos, write more, and PUBLISH that book!!
What skill-set do you feel led to pursue now that the brook in your life is drying up?

●What if Elijah had got depressed when the brook (he was used to) dried up?

●What if He had started to worry within himself about what his next move should be?

●What if He had blamed God for the predicament he was now in?

●He never would have made it to Zarephath thinking like that.

Remember,
You are what you think in your heart. Proverbs 23:7 NKJV

So, Stop thinking so much and listen. What is God saying? What's next for you?
Let's Go!!

11/10/24 "Supernatural Strength "

11/10/24

5 Minutes Of Focus

"Supernatural Strength"
2 Kings 4:3-6 NIV
[3] Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. [4] Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.” [5] She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. [6] When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.”

Now, The bible doesn't tell us exactly how many jars she got from her neighbor, but Elisha did tell her to "Don't ask for just a few."
2 Kings 4:3 NIV

So, It was more than a few jars meaning- it was a lot of jars and the time her sons spent bringing her jars and she spent filling jars had to be hours & hours of work.

But still she had the strength to keep going...
Asking her son to bring her another jar to which he replied, There is not a jar left.

No jars were left, but yet she had the strength to keep going.

When you are doing the Will Of God...He will supply you with the strength you need to keep going.

That project you began, but have been procrastinating on...Beloved, It's time to get interest in it again and finish it, keep going.

1 Kings 19:5 (NIV) says,
She shut the door behind her and her sons...
If a mother with 2 sons could find the time to shut out the world, shut out the cares of this world and get the jars filled, so that she could have the money she needed to pay off the creditors, save her sons, and live off the rest. (2 Kings 4:7 NIV) What's your excuse?
We all have been given 24 hours in a day.

[13] Christ is the one who gives you the strength you need to do whatever you must do.
Philippians 4:13 ERV

SO, NO MORE EXCUSES!!
Obey and receive supernatural strength.

5 Minutes of Focus

"Lies, Lies, Lies!!"
[16] Then Elisha said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!”
Il Kings 4:16 NKJV

Now, The Shunammite woman knew Elisha was a Man of God, but because she had been lied to (repeatedly) in the past...She had a problem receiving what he was saying to her now.

Because of the lies she had been told in the past, it was just easier for her to reject anything & anybody who would be bold enough to dare offer her glimmer of hope.

Elisha offered her hope. Prophesying to her that next year, the son she wanted, but didn't have would be in her arms.

What is it God has promised you that you are afraid to even hope for now?

Too many lies have been told, too much hurt has been caused for you just to believe so easily; the way you use to when you were a child.

So, You've stopped hoping, you've stopped believing. Hoping & Believing are the "so-called" childish things you've decided to put away since you've been grown.
1 Corin 13:11

But God says, Unless you come to me like a little child you will not receive.
It's time, cast your cares (the lies you apparently care about) over on God.
Psalms 55:22

Hope Again....Believe Again!!
(Hebrews 11:1)

He knows every lie that has been told to you and by whom. They have not gotten away with causing you to be fearful, causing you to not trust the very one God has sent to prophesy your healing, to prophesy your new life, to prophesy the desire of your heart.
Psalms 37:4

Elisha had been sent by God to prophesy not just a baby (this time next year) to The Shunammite woman, but prophesy also what the baby reprents- NEW LIFE & MIRACLES!!

● New Life awaits you...
● Miracles awaits you...
● Give the lies to God.
● Allow Him to heal you.
● Come to God (humble) like a child.
● Hope & Believe.

10/27/24 "The Truth Is"

10/27/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"The Truth Is"
[5] Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. [6] He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had: [7] We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.” [8] His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said. [9] Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”
Genesis 37:5-9 NIV

Joseph was just telling his brothers what he saw.
He didn't mean no harm, but because he was misunderstood in his family...

They hated him for the very thing God had established to save their lives.

Even in the darkest times you have to say what you want to see, with haters all around you, right there in your family....You have to say what God has commissioned you to say, and be unapologetic for what you're seeing. Say it until you want it, with or without them.

In Genesis 37:19-28 NIV
Joseph went to Egypt because of his brothers, but notice this: He went because of his brothers, but yet he went without his brothers.

Beloved,
It's lonely now, you're misunderstood now, you're hated now UNTIL what you have been saying manifests and EVERYBODY can see, it was more than just dreams, more than a dream.

The dreams Joseph had were of God sent...God used Joseph’s dream life, used his imagination to position him in a place where He could save, he could help the very ones that hated him. Read Genesis 45.

10/20/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Hello Morning!!"
[5] Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.
Psalms 30:5 NKJV

If you only knew how angry the devil gets every time you get up, every time you wake up.

He just knew that the weeping you endured last night would take you out.

He just knew that the weeping you endured last night would send you into a depression-into a depressed state.

But To God be the glory because you woke up this morning with expectation, expecting joy- the joy of the Lord, the strength of the Lord  to meet you right where you are. (Nehemiah 8:10)

And He did...He came and met you right where you are with no questions asked.

So, Not only did you have enough strength to get up this morning, but you got up and got dressed, fixed yourself something to eat and proceeded to run a few errands....All of which would have been too much, too overwhelming (mentally) for you just a short time ago.

But God, He's greater IN YOU that the world outside of you. (1 John 4:4)...Which means He's greater than your world- your world being that personal hell you're living in.

He's greater and because He's greater....You can keep on getting up, expecting joy, expecting strength, expecting to overcome the very thing that should have, that could have made you depressed, but it didn't.

"MEN!!"
[16] A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men.
Proverbs 18:16 NKJV

Beloved,
Your gift is being hindered, held up because of the way you feel about MEN.

Your gift hasn't made room for you yet because of the way you feel about MEN.

God knows you've had some shady dealings with some men on your job, with either your boss or some of your co-workers.

And Ladies, some of you have been in one bad relationship after another with MEN just like The Samaritan woman in John 4.

But still, I'm here to tell somebody loud & clear...
GREAT MEN DO EXIST!!

God wouldn't just bring you before "ANY" body whose  available. That's something you have done to YOURSELF.
God doesn't treat you like you treat yourself. Think about it!! 🤔 🤦‍♀️

He said that gift that HE gave you would make room for you (give you the opportunity to stand on platforms & stages), to meet great men BOTH professionally and personally....But don't get the 2 mixed up. God will reveal the type of meeting it is for you at that time.

Notice, The 1st thing Jesus said to The Samaritan woman in John 4 in regards to that man.

John 4:16 NIV
[16] He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”
● She wouldn't go call him.

● Instead she started talking about who he was NOT to her.

John 4:17 NIV
[17] “I have no husband,” she replied.

●To which, I really believe she missed the opportunity to see that man delivered and CHANGED into a great man.
Great Men Do Exist!!

[3] Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. [4] Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.
Mark 2:3-4 NIV

Beloved,
You never know whose help you will need BEFORE you leave this earth....

The circumstances surrounding one situation in your life could change suddenly, forcing you to need help just like that paralyzed man needed help.

He needed the help of those 4 men. There is no way He could have made it to Jesus, to the place where he would be forgiven of his sins and healed without help from those 4 able- bodied men.

That's why Beloved, It's important that you treat EVERYBODY right even when they don't treat you right, because truly you don't know whose help you will need.

It's also important that you pick some friends you know you can rely on in a crisis.

THESE ARE NOT THE FRIENDS YOU LAUGH AND JOKE WITH, HANG OUT WITH. The friends who you find yourself encouraging, upholding, and willingly participating in each other's bad habits, each other's sins etc.

No, These are the friends that right now, you might not even acknowledge them as your friends, but they can get a prayer through.

●They can get a prayer through.

●They can carry you to Jesus.

●They know how to move in faith and not doubt.

The four men who carried that paralyzed man to Jesus knew how to move in faith and not doubt.

Even when it looked like they wouldn't be able to get him in to see Jesus...THEY DID NOT LET THE CROWD make them doubt what was possible.

Instead they dug into their faith (inwardly), and starting digging in the natural UNTIL the roof came off.
These are the kind of friends you need.

●Friends that will dig for you, take action for you.

●They won't doubt or cause you to doubt.

●They won't become intimidated by the crowd and drop you before finishing what they started.

Beloved, Where are your carriers?

Who are your carriers?
Thank God for them.

5 Minutes of Focus

"Standing In The Gap"
[1] A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. [2] They gathered in such large numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. [3] Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. [4] Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. [5] When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
Mark 2:3-5 NLT

Beloved,
What if seeing your faith was enough to get God to move on behalf of that other person?

Would you take your faith more seriously then?

Jude 1:20 (NKJV) talks about building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

Would you do whatever it takes to keep your faith built up including praying in the Holy Spirit, if you knew God was looking, HE WAS PAYING ATTENTION  to your faith and what you did would determine that other person's outcome?

That's exactly what happened in Mark 2:5: Jesus saw the faith of the men who brought the paralyzed man to Him. He saw everything they went through and everything they did to get the man in to see Him.

So, Jesus forgave the man of his sins and healed his body based on the faith He saw in the four men. He didn't even bother to ask the paralyzed man if he had faith or not, it didn't matter.

He was paralyzed and he got healed off of their faith. That's all that mattered...Who is your faith standing in the gap for?

God wants to use your faith to do something that has never been seen before...NOT in your life, but in the life of that other person that has a need.

[12] He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”
Mark 2:12 NIV

[18]  And on the seventh day the child died. David's servants feared to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, While the child was yet alive, we spoke to him and he would not listen to our voices; will he then harm himself if we tell him the child is dead?

[19]  But when David saw that his servants whispered, he perceived that the child was dead. So he said to them, Is the child dead? And they said, He is. [20]  Then David arose from the floor, washed, anointed himself, changed his apparel, and went into the house of the Lord and worshiped...
2 Samuel 12:18-20 AMPC

SOMEBODY: Hear Me!!
Your loved one would want you to live...
Being without them is hard,
I get it.
But the fact that God has given you with a brand new day, a day you have never seen before, should be enough to motivate you to get up and keep going.

What looks like the end to you right now is really just the beginning. Life has more to offer you, but you will be in no position mentally to receive it, if you keep holding onto what you can't change or undo.

David realized there was nothing more he could do for his son and so he got up. Despite those who were whispering around him, thinking that if he got "wind" of what they were talking about he might harm himself.

David got up. He was on the floor, but he got up.
That's a Word 4 SOMEBODY:
God has given you the strength to get yourself up. (Philip 4:13)...You don't have to stay down physically or mentally.

You can grieve and live.

Honor that loved one's memory, but live your life.
Start by taking care of your personal hygiene and change your clothes. Look your best, even though you don't feel your best.

Let your appearance prophesy to those who were whispering about you....Let them see you are not down permanently.

Get up and go worship Jesus (your God, your Lord & Savior). This is (STILL) a day the Lord has made...
Psalms 118:24

So, Don't stay there grieving like you have no hope. There is hope.

9/15/24 "Mary Or Martha?"

9/15/24

5 Minutes Of Focus

"Mary Or Martha?"
[38] As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. [39] She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. [40] But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
Luke 10:38-40 NIV

For those that work outside of your home:

What's the 1st first thing you do when you get in?

Do you take a moment to reflect on the day you had and acknowledge that it was God who kept you?

He kept you from that accident that could have happened?

He kept you from getting into an argument with one of your co-workers, kept you doing something you would regret, He kept you.

All day long His Holy Spirit has been your comforter-The reason you didn't get upset, your counselor-talking you through, keeping you company on your lunch break, so that you didn't break.

He's been everything John 14:26 in the AMPC promises He would be.
So, How do you repay His goodness?

Mary came in from the day she had experienced and the bible says, She sat at Jesus feet, listening to what He had to say. She chose to recharge her spirit with His wisdom BEFORE diving into whatever else needed to be done for the day.

But not Martha, Martha was there, complaining to Jesus about all the things that still needed to be done and how she had no help.

She talked to Jesus, but her words were not words of thanksgiving, words of praise and adoration. She didn't give Him the attention He deserved, but yet she expected Him to pay attention to what she needed and DO SOMETHING about it!!

Why are we like that?
In a world that tempts us daily to be more & more like Martha. I pray we choose Mary, choose Jesus, choose to reverence Him, to honor His Holy Spirit 1st.

Beloved,
Put Him 1st and the other things you need will be added according to Matthew 6:33.
Take a moment to sit at His feet -the instructions you need are at His feet. Deut 33:3 NIV

9/8/24 "Go Get The Jars!!"

5 Minutes of Focus

"Go Get The Jars!!"
2 Kings 4:1-3 NIV

[1] The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.” [2] Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.” [3] Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few.

Often we miss God's instructions for the situation we're in because we're expecting Him to tell us something deep, tell us something profound.

But what if God's instructions for the situation you're currently in included something as simple as you going over to all your neighbors houses and asking them for any empty jars they may have in their possession?

Would you go?

Would you obey the man or wo-man of God sent to tell you to go right there in your neighborhood and collect as many empty jars as possible?

Beloved,
You don't have time to hesitate. What if the woman, the mother in 2 Kings 4 had hesitated and not went right away to her neighbors houses?

What if she had hesitated when Elisha told her to go and borrow empty jars from her neighbors?

What if she had took the time to think about who her neighbors were and how she don't like that one particular neighbor?

And how she really don't associate with one of the other neighbors?

Her sons would have been taken away from her had she hesitated and been all in her feelings.

Hear Me,

● Stop hesitating.

● You know what you have to do.

● Keep your feelings out of it and do what God is saying. You have too much to lose otherwise.

Go Get The Jars!! 🤔

Selah- Pause & Reflect on this message. God is waiting on you to move in obedience to what He is saying.

Until Next Sunday.

9/1/24 "The Adjectives "

9/1/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"The Adjectives "
Have you ever found yourself using the adjectives: annoyed, annoying, irratated or irratating to describe an encounter you keep having with that certain person?

What If I told you that some people come around you, hang around just to annoy you? BELOVED, That Spirit is not new, but it is deliberate!!

In The New Testament:
Acts 16:17-18 NIV
The bible talks about a female slave who deliberately followed Paul and those who were with him.

Verse [18] The bible says,
She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

It's  a Spirit...You are not crazy and you are not wrong for feeling the way that you feel..THAT PERSON NEEDS TO BE DELIVERED!!

In The Old Testament, Peninnah had one goal, year after year...To irritate Hannah.

1 Samuel 1:6-7 NIV
Verse [6] Because the Lord had closed Hannah’s womb, her rival (Peninnah) kept provoking her in order to irritate her. [7] This went on year after year.

That person is deliberately provoking you to irritate you. Now that you have 1 Samuel 1:6-7 & Acts 16:16-18 as biblical proof of what you're dealing with...

It's time to go to war (in the Spirit), calling out every Spirit you see present in them:

Acts 16:16-18- Following You!!
Stalking Spirit.
Saying the right words, but not of God!!
Unclean Spirit.
Attached To You!!
Leeching Spirit- A Snake.
A snake was attached to the Apostle Paul, he had to shake it off or it would have been deadly. Acts 28:3-5

1 Samuel 1:6-7
Year After Year...
Time Stealing Spirit!!
Peninnah deliberately planned out her attack on Hannah, on her emotions, on her mental state, causing her to waste time she could never get back, and possibly suffer a major setback.

War, Fight Back, You're Not Crazy!!

8/25/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Worry & Me"
[6] Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.
Philip 4:6 CEV

Stop worrying. Worry is not a good look on you.
The longer you give in to worry, the more you look ungrateful in the eyes of man for the things God has already done in your life.

Beloved,
It's important that you stay in faith and not let anxiety get the best of you. You never know whose watching you.

Don't loose your witness for Christ in a moment of weakness. If He truly is "good all the time"...Then look like He is and stop worrying.

In the bible, God had blessed Job abundantly. He had a family, houses, land, and cattle. LIFE WAS GOOD!!

But when it came to his children, Job worried....
He worried about what THEY MIGHT be doing that he knew not of. So, Just in case, they were sinning- doing something God would not approve of; Job gave an offering for each of them.
Job 1:5 CEV

At 1st glance, you might think, Job was acting in faith on behalf of his childen...

But how is it faith, when you are thinking negative thoughts about your children, about what they might or might not even be doing?

And like Job, you're worried and  trying to say you're doing what you're doing, "just in case", but really you're doing it just because...
Just because you're worried and you don't like not knowing. You don't like feeling powerless; having to rely solely on faith and not your own sight or capability.

Faith has you blind in this season and you're worried.
BUT YET...We walk by faith and not sight.

"Hooked"
Peter was full of confidence at first... Boldly asking to be released from the boat he shared with the other disciples and to come out on the water.

He was full of confidence until he looked down and noticed the condition of the water.
Matthew 14:25-30 NIV

Beloved,
There are some things, some circumstances, and even some people God wants you to keep your eyes off of in this season.

Keep your eyes off of it, off of them...
It's all a part of the devil's charm to get you distracted 1st in your mind by what you see and then in your mouth by what you say about what you see.

And just like that the distraction has become fish bait sent to get your mouth hooked on the negativity you see.

STUDY MATTHEW 14:
Peter’s mouth got hooked and he went from talking boldly, having bold faith to actually believing he was drowning and crying out in fear, " Lord, Save Me!!

So, Which is it:
👉 Is your mouth hooked on negativity?
👉 Is your eyes distracted by something or someone you shouldn't even be focused on?

👉 Are you full of confidence still?
👉 Are you still boldly asking, believing?
👉 Or are you the one crying out, "Lord, Save Me!!...Because you feel like you're drowning, like you've taken in or perhaps taken on more than you can handle.

Either way, Jesus ended up escorting Peter back to the same boat he was once in and the scripture says that when THEY climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
Matthew 14:32 NIV

I decree & declare that whatever or whoever has hooked you, distracted you...It is only temporary. Jesus is still near and things will die down.

[8] Then Jesse called Abinadab and had him pass in front of Samuel. But Samuel said, “The Lord has not chosen this one either.” [9] Jesse then had Shammah pass by, but Samuel said, “Nor has the Lord chosen this one.” [10] Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, “The Lord has not chosen these.”
1 Samuel 16:8-10 NIV

Beloved,
How many times will rejection have to come in that area, by the same person, about the same thing BEFORE you move on and accept it was NOT God’s will?

Rejection came 7xs in the same area, about the same thing and EACH TIME (the prophet) Samuel had to say, The Lord hasn't chosen this one; trying to get Jesse to accept the fact that the 7 sons he so dearly loved, may have been great men, but kings they were not!!

Don't be like Jesse. Stop putting yourself in a position where you have to be told, "No" over & over again.

Stop breaking your own heart over a dream that you wanted to come true; a dream you never bothered to take before the Lord for His approval. You just assumed it was of God because of the way things looked to you.

But you must remember, you are on the outside looking in, but God sees everything & everybody from the inside out.

Otherwise, Eliab would have been anointed the next king (out of Jesse's 7 sons). He looked the part; even had Samuel  (the prophet) fooled by his appearance.
1 Samuel 30:6-7 NIV

Hear Me SOMEBODY:
They are not the one. That is not the place, the position, or timing of God.

Accept that it's not God's will and move on. Don't allow anger to build up inside of you until one day, "out of the blue" you explode, verbally attacking someone close to you. Over what? The rejection you're feeling right now.
Read: 1 Samuel Chapters 16 & 17 and connect the dots between Eliab & David.

To this day, Eliab owes David an apology he will never get...
All because of rejection.
God loved him enough to not choose him and He loved you enough to not choose you, to not choose them for you, or that for you. It was your plan, but God’s decision to make according to Proverbs 16:9 CEV

8/5/24 "School Prayer"

Father God,
Today,
I pray over the mind of every teacher, every principal, every bus driver, every cafeteria worker, over every person who will come in contact with our children this school year. I pray that they stand before our children in their right mind, displaying the mind of Christ- His love & compassion to every child regardless of race, disability, or inability.  I pray that there be no inappropriate actions or behavior shown towards our children or by our children.

This year, I pray that adults will be adults and children will be children and there will be no ungodly mingling of the two. This year, I pray school will be a safe haven for our children to learn & grow and not be inappropriately approached or bullied.

I pray, Father God,
That your divine wisdom & anointing will crown the head of every child and help them to do the work needed to advance, to excel.

Last but not least, I send the blood of Jesus ahead of our children to every school, every classroom, every door, every desk that the enemy will not be able to attack. This year the enemy will NOT be able to steal, kill, and destroy. The angel of the Lord be on duty, encamping around about them.
In Jesus name,
Amen

8/4/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Celebrate The Can's"
David said:
[13] I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13 NKJV

Maybe your ALL hasn't manifested yet and so you are still limited in some areas despite your faith in God.

Don't give up. Stay focused on the things you can do, the things that His strength has allowed you to do, to accomplish.

I know ALL is the goal, ALL is the promise, but you must remember that for each person that reads and believes Philip 4:13...ALL means something different.

However, The one thing we do have in common is while we may not have the ability yet to ALL we want to do  currently...We do have the ability to do ALL we need to do... That's where the strength of God kicks in.

Think About It!!

Philip 4:13 in the ERV translation  says,
[13] Christ is the one who gives me the strength I need to do whatever I must do.

SOMEBODY:
You're just out here doing what you can do; doing whatever you must do.

You would love to be able to do ALL things in every area of your life through Christ who strengthens you, but UNTIL you enter that season where everything that is due becomes due (and available to you -Gal 6:9 KJV), and ALL is really ALL with no limitations...

Keep doing the best you can. Celebrate "The Can's" -the things you can do and just know that when The "ALL" that God's talking about does manifest...It will be ALL, it will be everything and your daily life will take a shift for the better because of it.

7/28/24 "Minding Your Mental Health "

7/28/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Minding Your Mental Health"
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34 NIV

Stop worrying about tomorrow.  The more you worry about tomorrow, the more you rob yourself of time; time you could have spent  enjoying today.

Your mind can't be in today and in tomorrow at the same time. Your mind will be wherever you are. Mentally, you are either in the past, the present, or the future. Where are you?

[9] But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” [10] He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
Genesis 3:9-10 NIV

Adam was in the present, tuned into what he was hearing & feeling in that moment.

He was afraid in that moment because of what he had done wrong. So, He hid.
He hid his nakedness- the fact that he was uncovered and vulnerable... He tried to hide that from God.

SOMEBODY:
Right now, You're trying to hide the fact that you're afraid, you're vulnerable, you're worried. You're not even living in the present. You are living in the past, your mind is  consumed with the past- trying to re-trace the steps of your path that has led you to where you are now.

Beloved,
You can't do it on your own. Get yourself an accountability partner- somebody whose going to hold you accountable for your mental health, somebody who will help you stay focused.

If Lot's wife would've had somebody to help her stay focused, somebody to hold her accountable for her mental health....Maybe, she never would have looked back, maybe she would have been able to go forward with her husband & family and keep her mind out of what was now the past.
Genesis 19:26 NIV

She lacked focus, and her mental health was not being cared for...and
it cost her the future she could have had.

Don't let what you're afraid of, what you're worried about steal your future, steal your today.
The devil comes only to steal, kill, and destroy.

7/21/24

5 Minutes Of Focus

"Questions"
Jesus from The Cross cried out:
[1] My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?
Psalms 22:1 NIV

And in Psalms 13 David said:
[1] How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? [2] How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Psalms 13:1-2 NIV

The point is we all have questions...David had questions, even Jesus had questions.

There is nothing wrong with asking God questions.
God never said you couldn't ask Him questions. In fact, He encourages you to ask in Matthew 7:7 NIV

Asking is the only way the door will be open to certain things, open to certain conversations.

So Beloved, Don't be afraid to ask God the questions that keep you up at night. It's okay to want answers to why this happened and that happened.

If Jesus could ask God why He had forsaken him...and later discover that it was only temporary because He had taken our sin upon himself and God being "Holy" couldn't bare to look at sin NOT even on Jesus...So, He turned his back!!

If David could ask God how long...You can ask God about that situation you feel is taking too long, that situation that hurt you.

You can ask God, why you were abandoned? Why you were molested as a child?
Why a loved one died so soon?
Why you had to go through a painful breakup? Why you had to go through a painful divorce etc.?

However, Be prepared like Jesus to not hear the answer, but to discover the answer as life goes on and you're able to put 2 & 2 together via His Holy Spirit.

Remember, When it comes to asking God questions:
● We have not because we ask not. James 4:2 NIV
● Sometimes we ask amiss. James 4:3 NKJV
● But the sin is never in the questions.
● So, Ask!!

Ruth 1:1-14 NIV

Beloved,
Never make a decision based solely on what somebody else has said to you.

Never make a decision out of fear of what you can or cannot see happening in the future.

Both of these are what Orpah did and it landed her right back where she started from.

SOMEBODY:
You don't have to start all over again. Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit (right from where you are), He knows what direction you should be going in at this point in your life.

No man or wo-man who has never actually been YOU can tell you what to do for sure... They can give advice, they can suggest what might be the right thing to do, but the Holy Spirit knows for sure what you should do.

[20] Though the Lord gave you adversity for food and suffering for drink, he will still be with you to teach you. You will see your teacher with your own eyes. [21] Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.
Isaiah 30:20-21 NLT

2 Kings 5:10-11NIV

The bible let's us know that Naaman went away angry...He got mad and went away. But for how long? How long was he away? How much time did he waste being angry, being mad? Was it an hour, or was he away for a few hours etc.?
The bible doesn't say...

Naaman could've gotten healed sooner than he did, but because he wasted time...

Beloved,
God says, Stop wasting your time being mad...
You could have had your healing, had that job promotion, had that house already...If you hadn't wasted all that time being angry, being mad.

So many opportunities, so many major "life-changing" moments we miss out on and don't receive what God intended, all because of how we felt at the time.

So what, If things didn't go as you had planned or as you had hoped.
[9] A person may think up plans. But the Lord decides what he will do.
Proverbs 16:9 ICB

And the Lord has decided to delay your healing, delay that job promotion, delay that house UNTIL you can learn to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

Psalms 18:18 CEV

If you have ever been confronted with some unnecessary drama at the worst possible time...

If you've ever been confronted, if your character has ever been attacked. If they really had the nerve to come for you for no apparent reason...This is for you!!

God was your support then and He is your support now, He was your defense then and He is your defense now.
They attacked you, they came for you, but they could not achieve what they wanted because of GOD!!

He reached down from on high and took hold of you; He drew you out of deep waters. He rescued you from your powerful enemy, from your foes, who were too strong for you.
Psalms 18:16-17 NIV

And to this day, they still don't understand the favor of God that's on your life. They think you just got "lucky." that's all...That's how you've managed to survive for so long in spite of everything they have attempted to do to you, in spite of everything they have said about you.

The Father in Luke 15 chose to celebrate the son who ran out on him, took his money pre-maturely, the one through his actions, wished that he was dead.
But for the son - the one who had ALWAYS been right there, (been loyal)...There was no celebration.
Luke 15:11-31 NIV

Don't take for granted the one that's ALWAYS been there...
What if they decide not to be?

One thing's for sure, people don't have to do anything for you. So, If you have someone in your life (family or friend) who has always been there for you, has always been loyal no matter what...Don't forget to celebrate them.

Sometimes that person would like a gift (over and beyond what they already have access to), "just because"....Because you're thinking of them,  just because you care, just because you knew celebrating them in that way would make them happy.

In Luke 15:
The Prodigal Son was the one being celebrated, while his brother hadn't been celebrated NOT even once for all his years of loyalty.

[29] But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.
Luke 15:29 NIV

There are some good brothers out there that keep getting over looked and under appreciated and just like The Prodigal Son's brother, they're angry and they have every reason to be.

"No Excuses"
[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...
John 3:16 NKJV

But what if God had changed His mind at the last minute, and decided giving up Jesus for us was too high of a price to pay?

And what if the Apostle Paul (from a prison cell) had decided, he had enough to deal with already and  therefore was not currently in a position to be a father to Onesimus?

[9] It is as none other than Paul—an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus— [10] that I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains.
[18] If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me. [19] I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back—
Philemon 1:9-10, 18-19 NIV

But The Apostle Paul didn't use his current situation as an excuse nor did God use the excuse of it being too much to pay.

But they both stepped up and made the necessary sacrifices.
Jesus being the ultimate sacrifice for us, clearing our pathway of sin, so we could be adopted and affectionately refer to God as "Abba."
Rom 8:15 KJV

Because truth be told, a lot of men are hiding behind an excuse as to why they can't be a father to their children.

But to The Ones that are walking upright in the footsteps of "Abba", in the footsteps of men of God like the Apostle Paul...Thank you for taking responsibility for your seeds.

Even though, it hasn't been  easy...Thank you for stepping up. (Your) children are a gift from the Lord. (Psalms 127:3 lCB)...No Excuses!!

[5] She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. [6] When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.
[7] She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”
ll Kings 4:3-7 NIV

Beloved,
God is going to give you a creative solution to paying off the debt you owe.

There is no way, God would give the widow, the single mother of 2 in ll Kings 4 a way out of debt, a way to save her children and not do the same for you.

But you must be open to whatever He tells you to do.
In the words of Mary (Jesus' Mother), "Whatever He tells you to do...Do It!!" (John 2:5 NIV)...Though it may seem foolish to you. Remember, He uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.
1 Corin 1:27 KJV

The widow, the single mother in ll Kings 4 did what God told her to do via Elisha even though she may have felt uncomfortable, may have felt ashamed going around from house to house, borrowing jars from her neighbors....STILL she didn't let how she was feeling stop her.

Don't let how you're feeling about it stop you either. If you know that's what God said, then do it!! Put your feelings aside and just do it!!

Your freedom from debt is depending on it.
Your children are depending on it....Depending on you being obedient. So, again, put your feelings aside and just do it!! Be obedient.

Until Next Sunday.

6/2/24 "Tried But Tested "

‭6/2/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Tried But Tested!!"
[1] Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied.
[12] “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son."
Genesis 22:1, 12 NIV

To you it looks like you're kids are TRYING you...But what if I told you, God is the one trying you? He's testing you through your kids just like He did Abraham.

God tested Abraham through His Son, Isaac. He tested His loyalty, His obedience, but most of all He tested the fear of the Lord (the respect) Abraham "supposedly" had for Him in Genesis 22.

● ABRAHAM PASSED HIS TEST!!

Now you are being tested!! Will you make it through the test?
Will you pass the test and become a better mother, a better father, a better servant of Christ because of the days you're in right now.

Beloved, These days of being tried, of being tested will pass. ENDURE the hardship of it, the hardship of (parenthood) like a good soldier.
2 Timothy 2:3 NKJV

God has a rush in the bush that will be sacrificed...
What's going on now is not meant to permanently harm you or your kids.

But these days (for you) were meant to mature you in patience, help you control your anger. Instead be slow to speak and listen, really listen to your kids.
James 1:19 NIV
James 1:2-3 NKJV

EVERYBODY DESERVES A LISTENING EAR....
Especially kids with so much going on in this world. 🌎

Father God,
Restore every weary mother, every single mother, every father, every single father; weary and hurting on this journey called parenthood.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Until Next Sunday.

5/26/24 "For 1"

5/26/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"For 1"
[12] Let me ask you this. What would you do if you had 100 sheep and one of them wandered off? Wouldn't you leave the 99 on the hillside and go look for the one that had wandered away?
Matthew 18:12 CEV

It could have been 99 people or 99 dollars and God still would have left the people and the money to go after YOU- the one who is lost, the one who is hurting and thinking about ending it all.

Because He's a God that will leave whoever and whatever in search of you just because you need Him.

And while people may laugh and make fun of your difference-that thing that makes you feel like an outsider. God has already accepted you as one of the others who belong to Him.

In ‭John 10:
He says, I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
John 10:16 NIV

Beloved, You may not look like the average  "SELF- Proclaimed" Christian. You may have tattoos all over your body.
Guess whoelse has at least 2 tatoos; one on the palm of each hand?

[16]  Behold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands; [O Zion] your walls are continually before Me.
Isaiah 49:16 AMPC

Plus, Jesus had severe scarring in His hands, and side from what was done to Him on The Cross (scars that He let Thomas touch in John 20)

So,There is no need for you to feel awkward or out of place with God. You are His. Your life is in Him. LIVE for Him, in spite of what people say about you.

Who are they to judge another man's servant?
Romans 14:4

YOU ARE GOD'S SERVANT.

5/19/24 "Faith Struggles "

5/19/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"Faith Struggles"
John 20 paints a beautiful picture of Jesus being patient with Thomas who was struggling to believe. Thomas had his doubts.
So, Jesus showed up and allowed him to see, allowed him to touch His scars.
John 20:24-28 NIV

Beloved,
Stop beating yourself up because your faith is not where you desire it to be.

There once was a time when you believed without seeing, you had blind faith early on as a young Christian just getting to know Jesus.

But now that some years have passed and life has happened over and over life has happened, you still believe, but like Thomas you have your doubts too.

SOMEBODY:
You are really struggling with what you can't see. Like Thomas, you're struggling to believe without proof. You need proof and you hate that you need proof, you hate the way things are now, but you need proof.

Rather than convict you as though you were a harden criminal deservant of time served...God says, Call to Me.

It's just that simple...
God is not mad at you, but He wants you to call to Him (in prayer- talk to Him like you would talk to a friend) and He will show you proof of what you cannot see, proof of what you cannot believe right now.

[3]  Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).
Jeremiah 33:3 AMPC

Even though you're of little faith right now...God is patient, loving towards you and it's that lovingkindness that's drawing you now as you read this.
Jeremiah 31:3 KJV

BELOVED, I'm praying for the full restoration of your faith.
Just as Thomas' faith was restored after having seen and touched Jesus' nailed scarred hands etc.

‭[27] Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."
[28] AND Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
John 20:27-28 NIV

5/12/24 "God Knows"

5/12/24

5 Minutes of Focus

"God Knows"
[25] Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. [26] When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” [27] and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
John 19:25-27 NIV

Beloved,
God knows you did ALL you could for your mother, for the grandmother who raised you while they were here on the earth.

Like Jesus did for his mother prior to going to The Cross... You made the best decision you could for the well-being of your loved one for as long as they had left.

So, Weep if you must on today. There's nothing wrong with feeling what you feeling. Grief is different for everyone...

But God says, Don't allow it to steal the joy (the strength) you have found in Him. I AM your strength.  The joy of the Lord is your strength.  Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)

Though, You may be weeping, enduring today... Psalms 30:5 (NKJV) I AM your strength.

Dry your eyes, find a reason AMONG the memories of what was to laugh, to rejoice even.

God says, Because in My Presence is the fullness of joy. Psalms 16:11 (NIV) That scripture is for YOU here on earth and for your mother, your grandmother here in My Presence.  You both have access. For I am omnipresent-God everywhere.

So, Weep (if you must), Endure (if you must)...
But don't forget to laugh, to rejoice, to take this opportunity wherever you are to get in His Presence.

You did all you could...God knows. So, Don't let sorrow, regret, unanswered questions weigh you down on today.
God knows.

Until Next Sunday.
