"Rectify The Issue"

Rectify meaning put (something) right; correct.

SOMEBODY: You have an issue that's really gotten to you, really been bothering you. You've had this issue for years and it is an issue of blood, an issue with those BLOOD RELATIVES of yours, that is.

You're not physically bleeding like the woman with the issue of blood, but you definitely have been impacted by those you're blood related to.

You see, the woman in Mark 5:25-29 (NIV) had a physical illness and spent all the money she had trying to rectify the issue and you've spent all the free time you've had over the years, trying to rectify the issue you're having with certain relatives. Yet to be honest, it has gotten worse, just like things got worse for her (the woman with the issue of blood)...Things have got worse for you relationship- wise with certain blood relatives. 

But there is an old saying, that says: Things will get worse before they ever get better....And it can be biblically proven as well. 

Because things surely got worse for the woman with the issue of blood...But then over a period of time, things got better.

It got better because she changed what she had been doing...She didn't try to scrape up enough money to go to another doctor...AND don't you try to scrape up enough courage to go to that blood relative of yours one more time. 

YOU DON'T BEG, YOU ASK and then you stop asking, if they don't respond favorably. 

You get out of your head-space. In other words, stop thinking on it so much. It has become your whole subject of conversation. Stop it!

Instead, do what the woman with the issue of blood did...She took it all to Jesus...She took the illness in her body, the issue she was having, her debt, and emotional distress...She took it all to Jesus.

Beloved, Take it all to Jesus...Take yourself and  your issue, your blood relative and the issue you're having with them to JESUS.

He knows how to heal the things that we can't even begin to rectify on our own.

Remember, Jeremiah 30:17 (NKJ) talks about how God will restore health to the body and heal WOUNDS...and some of you have been severely wounded by family (by blood relatives).

"Jesus & The Perfect Mother's Day Gift"

Jesus, when he was going through the hardest time of his life on The Cross...He still found a way to take care of his mother, to provide for his mother.

Why? Because Jesus understood the importance of honoring the woman who sacrificed herself to bring him into the world. The woman who "almost" lost her husband; all because she believed in what the Holy  Spirit had put in her and not some other man.

Matthew 1:18-20 NIV

So, those of you personally going through whatever you're going through....YOU CAN'T BE GOING THROUGH ANYTHING HARDER, MORE STRESSFUL than The Cross.

If Jesus could still find the strength to put something together, arrange  something special for His Mother from The Cross...What's your excuse? A "so-called" pandemic? Really. Get creative. 

Do something, if your mother is still ALIVE to honor her, to provide for her, to take care of her needs, her wants etc.

You see, Jesus being Jesus understood that after his death, burial, and resurrection in which he would go back to the Father....Mary would need somebody reliable to fill the void he would be leaving behind. So, he gives her John and perhaps, John was in need of a  Mother to comfort him, like only a mother can. So, he gives them to each other.

John 19:25-27 NIV

What a perfect gift... Putting two people together that would need each other, so that they could have each other when times got hard physically, hard emotionally. 

SIDENOTE: AND I BELIEVE, THIS HELPED JESUS give up "the ghost", die in peace, knowing that his mother would be okay without him.

Anyways, this definitely proves that every mother and son, every mother and daughter bond does not have to be biological...But whoever raised you, went out of their way, sacrificing themselves for YOU...That's who you honor today.

Motherhood is not always about blood, but it is always about LOVE.

Again, Jesus proved this by giving his own mother to John (his beloved disciple).

Just something powerful to think about.

"Blessings You Didn't Earn"

Now that you've had all the time in the world to think...THINK...But don't overthink and talk yourself out of, what God has spent all this time trying to talk you into.

Take Mephibosheth  for example: David (the King) showed up to bless Mephibosheth....The blessing was there. But it didn't go over too well with Mephibosheth because in his mind, he was still thinking of himself as a dead dog and David would have had a hard time convincing him otherwise; had he taken that approach. 

But he didn't.  Instead, David made the choice to ignore what was coming out of Mephibosheth's mouth and bless him anyway.  Afterall, this was not a blessing Mephibosheth had earned, but one he had inherited simply because of who his father was.

2 Samuel 9:1-11 NIV

Beloved, you might think of yourself as a dead dog, as a underdog etc...and it comes out in the way that you speak about yourself.

Still, that does not disqualify you from receiving a blessing you didn't earn in the first place.

🙌 SOMEBODY: YOU CAN'T BE GOOD ENOUGH to earn the blessing God is about to put on you.

And what's beautiful about Mephibosheth's story is that God didn't  consider Mephibosheth's physical condition or the position Mephibosheth felt he was in BEFORE sending  David over there to bless him.

Simply put: Because God is your Heavenly Father who you have an ACTIVE relationship with....When this quarantined stuff lifts, if God wants you at the table....Guess what?  You're coming to the table, issues and all. If God wants you eating like a king or queen...Guess what?  You will be.

If God wants some people working for you...Guess what?  They will be.

Mephibosheth was brought to the table in spite of his physical condition, in spite of how he felt about himself and the position he was in. He had people doing the work for him, keeping him provided for. It was a blessing that set him up to prosper and keep prospering, to emotionally heal and be okay for the rest of his life. That's the kind of God we serve.

"MORE"

Her husband Elkanah would say to her, “Hannah, why are you weeping? Why don’t you eat? Why are you downhearted? Don’t I mean more to you than ten sons?”

1 Samuel 1:8 NIV

A WORD 4 SOMEBODY:  Even those closest to you, can't understand your heart's desire for more. They can't understand the way you react to the simplest of things lately.  It's not just about you being quarantined either. It's simply about MORE, your heart's desire for more.

But they think, you should just be satisfied with what they're able to give, be satisfied with what you have, as good as you have it... Much like the way, Hannah's husband couldn't understand why he wasn't enough, his love for her wasn't enough, the home they shared wasn't enough; not without a son. It just wasn't enough, Hannah wanted more. More than just to be barren when she could feel, she could sense that there was still so much inside of her to give.

And you, you know there's much more inside of you to give than what people actually give you credit for.They try to throw you off by making you feel guilty, by making you feel selfish for believing that you are entitled to more, destined for more.

Unbeknownst to them, they are helping the devil deceive you by suggesting such a thing. Unbeknownst to them, they are helping the devil steal, kill, and destroy your heart, steal, kill, and destroy your dreams with their negative, foolish talk.

Beloved, you have nothing to feel guilty about and you certainly are not selfish. Jesus even said so.

Jesus in red letters (meaning Jesus is speaking; referring to the devil as a thief) He said:

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it MORE abundantly.

John 10:10 NKJV

Jesus came so that you could have MORE. So that you may have life and have it how?  MORE abundantly.  So, stop apologizing to people that can't understand where you're coming from and in the words of Mary Mary, "Go Get Your Blessing. It's Your Time."

"Your Go Moment"

Beloved, You can't always go backwards, but you can always go forward.

Even though, An angel of the LORD told Lot to get his family and Go; so that they wouldn't be harmed when the town they had been living in gets destroyed...Lot's wife was 1/2 obedient which always equals TOTAL DISOBEDIENCE.

She got ready to go forward with her husband into whatever was next for them, but before she could get out of viewing distance of  the home they had shared, the town, the people, etc., she looked back; totally destroying any future plans God had for them as a couple.

And it's obvious that God did have future plans for them BOTH or the angel would've just told Lot to get out of town immediately and do so alone.

Genesis 19:15-26 AMPC

The revelation found here is this: Often times we make our own way harder than it has to be by choosing to focus in on the wrong things at the wrong time , or by not knowing when it's time to let a person, place, or thing go.

Can I help you? If God has told you to "Go".... Go to the neighboring city or state, go for that next level of degree, go means go forward, to look back symbolizes something that's already gone because ONLY your past is behind you now.

Instead, Use this extra time Rona has opened up for you as a blessing, as an opportunity for you to get ready, take this quarantined time to prepare your life for your go moment. No more looking back. The prophet Isaiah said: Send me, I'll go. Isaiah 6:8

It's time to go. No questions asked....Lord, we trust you now like never before and so we prepare... Get ready, get set, Go.

4/12/20 "Sleeping On Jesus "

"Sleeping On Jesus"

How would you feel, if the people you entrusted your pain to, went to sleep  (literally) in the midst of you going through what you're going through? Instead of being your re-inforcements  in the realm of the Spirit and helping to pray you through, they fall asleep on you.

They fall asleep...As though, your pain isn't even worth paying attention to.

So, you're on your own, all alone.

Even though, you were careful about who you decided to open up to, and bring along with you...STILL the ones you chose couldn't save you, or at least, help prepare you for what was to come.

Jesus can relate...Here, He was in the garden of Gethsemane-a place where he was being pressed;  with Him were  Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, when it is He began to show grief and distress of mind and was deeply depressed....And what did the disciples do (those who were with Him) ?...I'll tell you what they did....THEY WENT TO SLEEP ON HIM...Not once, not twice , but repeatedly. 

Matthew 26:36-46 AMPC

Beloved, Aside from Jesus being crucified and the pain it caused his physical body....I think the thing that bothers me the most is that JESUS REALLY NEEDED the disciples he chose to bring with him into his personal time of grieving, suffering and STILL they chose sleep (they chose what they needed) over what he needed in that moment.

●SOMEBODY: How can you claim to love Jesus when nothing you do is really about Jesus?

And still today, we disciples are like the colt tied up in Mark 11....Jesus sends for us and some of us still refuses to go, to serve, to minister to the LORD where there is a need.

We disciples are still sleeping  on Jesus. We'd rather rush straight to Resurrection Sunday and He got up (which I'm glad he did)...But that's  what serves us. What about all those times we fell asleep on Jesus, when we should have been watching & praying because there was something He needed. Instead we let ourselves fall into temptation; acting like the world, tempted (drawn to) the same things as the world.

Jesus...Oh Jesus...

"Transforming, Changing"

6 Now Joseph was the governor of the land, the person who sold grain to all its people. So when Joseph’s brothers arrived, they bowed down to him with their faces to the ground. 

7 As soon as Joseph saw his brothers, he recognized them, but he pretended to be a stranger and spoke harshly to them. “Where do you come from?” he asked. “From the land of Canaan,” they replied, “to buy food.”  

8 Although Joseph recognized his brothers, they did not recognize him.

Genesis 42:6‭-‬8 NIV

But oh, when he was at home with them, they recognized him as the one they hated, the one they made fun etc....You see, Beloved, Often times, God will use painful situations like this from your childhood to transform you.

So, now they don't even recognize him.

 And so, Joseph ended up being  sold into slavery (removed from his brother's mistreatment of him) . Even though, slavery seemed like something worse, it wasn't. 

In what was supposed to be slavery, Joseph became a leader, when all he was before was a follower, following up in behind his brothers, talking too much, wanting to be liked, wanted to be accepted. 

Genesis 37 & Genesis 39

SOMEBODY: God is using the pain to transform you, change you from being the person they always pushed around, talked about, and cruelly dismissed. Even though you desperately wanted their acceptance, God didn't allow it because you're better than that. There is a leader in you that will re-define the order of things.

But in order to get you to lead, step out of the shadows and SHINE, God had to allow the pain. The pain is what's pushing you into transformation, into your changing position. 

So, Now you've come to realize the hard truth, that you don't need as much help as before, as back when you were a child.

Childish things you are now prepared to leave behind. 1 Corinthians 13:11....and when God gets through transforming you like Joseph those that hurt you won't even recognize you. There is so much more to be gained.
