"Hear Me"

My dear brothers and sisters, always be more willing to listen than to speak....

James 1:19 ERV

How many times have you just wanted them to hear you out; to stop talking and just hear you out?..You needed to be heard, you just wanted to be heard.

Instead, They disrespected you by not pausing long enough to hear you, to listen to  what you had to say.

A lot of marriages could be healed, if as a coupled you learned to listen.

A lot of parent/child issues could be healed, if you (the parent) would just learn to listen and really hear what your child is saying. 

Parents just because you're older that doesn't (automatically) make you wiser. 

The bible says, Jesus grew in wisdom...And if Jesus had to grow in wisdom, so do you.

Luke 2:52 NIV

Listen...Stop talking and listen.

Everybody just wants to be heard and everybody deserves to be heard, to have their voice matter, their opinion valued.  

Think about this:

It was not Hagar (the mother's cry) that the angel heard and  came in response to.....

In Genesis 21: The bible clearly let's us know that God has no problem acknowledging a child's cry...Because the angel responded to the cry, to the voice of Hagar's son, Ishmael and not Hagar. 

Genesis 21:17 NIV

Hear Me...Stop talking and listen. It's important!! Because they do have something to say.

"The Power Of Belief"

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

Mark 5:25‭-‬28 KJV

SOMEBODY: The devil has you believing that it's not going to happen for you because you have NO MONEY and there are too many issues currently going on with you.

Instead of doubling down of your faith and letting the devil know "ALL things are possible to those who believe."

Mark 9:23 NKJV

You waste valuable time, thinking about how the last thing you tried didn't work.

God says: Tell you, the last was the last...That's the last time you will feel helpless, like there is nothing more you can do.

Beloved, 

You are not helpless...When the woman the issue of blood had tried all she could, and the money she had was gone...

She decided-You shall decide (decree) a thing and it will be established for you. Job 22:28 AMP

She decided to reach out to Jesus, not try to approach someone and ask for a loan; hoping they would risk coming in contact with her. 

She made a decision to reach out to Jesus.

She made a decision to believe that her issue would be healed upon making contact with Him and it was.

Her belief system ended up changing her situation, changing her life....Don't stop believing.

"You Frustrate Me"

Jesus began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. He spoke this word openly. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

Mark 8:31-33 NKJV

Have you ever had a friend who you didn't see eye to eye with? You were thinking and speaking in line with the things of God....But they were thinking and responding back to you like the world.

So frustrating...It can be frustrating because you love them, but at the same time, you can't allow the foolishness that's coming out of their mouth to be a hindrance to you and what you know God has said.

Jesus knew what God said would happen. So, He had to rebuke that demonic Spirit that rose up in Peter.

Beloved, Stop entertaining Spirits that need to be rebuked

(reprimanded) or they will become a stronghold in your life - someone or something that's holding you back from your next level in God.

Peter may have meant well and all, not wanting Jesus to go through any type of pain.

But here's the thing, the devil often uses people close to you as a weapon against you, when he knows your destiny is greater than you.

Jesus destiny to save us all was greater than Him, and His destiny for you is greater than just you.

Therefore, According to Isaiah 54:17 you have the legal right to condemn (to shut down) any tongue that rises up against you...Your destiny will not be thwarted.

"Puzzle Pieces"

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Romans 8:28 NLT

See your life as a bunch of puzzle pieces, all scrambled up and scattered out. Every choice you make, every decision you make; you look at your current circumstances and pray that you made the right move.

What you don't know is that ALL these specific puzzle pieces have been assigned to your life and God will cause every bit of it to work together.

I'm reminded of Acts 27: How some of the people who were ship wrecked with the Apostle Paul, ended up making it to shore on the pieces that were broken.Though the pieces were broken and leftover in the water...STILL it was enough to get them to shore; no lives were lost.

BELOVED, What you have is enough....Everything is STILL going to work out. It doesn't look good or feel good right now, but God.

Think about this: It was God who caused it ALL to work out for Joseph in Egypt. Though he had to live with being lied on, falsely accused, and the stain of a prison record....

Genesis 39, Genesis 41

And that same God that did it for Joseph will do it for you now. He doesn't have to change a thing about what you're going through because it's all working together FOR YOU. 

You will see...

Elevation is coming.

Promotion is coming.

A lifestyle change (for the better) is coming.

The broken pieces of your heart will heal, just hold on.

It's all a part of the puzzle.

"Hurting In Silence"

In Matthew 14:

Jesus cousin, John the Baptist was beheaded (murdered).

John's disciples came and took his body and buried it. Then they went and told Jesus. When Jesus heard what had happened, HE WITHDREW by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick....And so, He never really got the opportunity to grieve. 

Matthew 14:1-14 NIV

Notice how in the text, the 1st thing Jesus did upon hearing about the death of his cousin was WITHDREW- He wanted to be alone to mentally process what he had just heard, mentally process what he was feeling.

So, He WITHDREW by boat privately- which again indicates that He wanted to be alone in that moment.

Because remember Jesus was BOTH God & Man when He walked this earth.

The bible says, He was a man acquainted with grief...

So, He had feelings. 

Isaiah 53:3 NKJ

But Here's the thing, NO ONE ever thinks to check on those of us who are strong.

Jesus was strong, but he could have used a hug in that moment. 

Instead, There was a crowd there when he landed, waiting to receive from Him.

They needed Him, but not one of them stopped to think, even for a second...If Jesus could have needed something from them as well.

People just automatically think because you are the giving type, the nurturing type...You don't need to be given to, checked on etc.

And just like so many of us...

Jesus ended up pushing what he was feeling aside, to be there for everyone else.

Beloved, Jesus understands all to well, what it feels like to have so much pressure on you, trying to be there for EVERYONE to the point that you neglect your own needs.

How I wished I could have hugged Jesus in that moment...Just been there with Him in that  moment, and backed the crowd off for a few minutes; enough to allow Him to feel, to process the tragic news He had just heard.

Then I heard Jesus say via

His Holy Spirit....

If you want to hug me...

Embrace my body.

Think about it....

When you hug somebody you are literally embracing that person's body.

But how do we Embrace the body of Jesus?

Then I remembered....

The words Jesus said at the last supper. 

and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body."

1 Corin 11:24 NKJ

Therefore, We embrace the body of Jesus, we hug Him  during our times of communion with Him. 🍞🍷

"Fighting Weariness"

“I am weary, God, but I can prevail.

Proverbs 30:1 NIV

The bible says that these are the words of a man named Agur... But how many of you feel just like Agur?

You're weary right now, but deep down...You STILL know you can prevail (come out victorious) over whatever has been opposing you.

And so, you press on...

Those around you have no idea you're smiling, but weary.

Those around you have no idea how close you were to quitting, to giving up, to throwing in the towel.

Then like David, you remembered all the things, all the situations, all the people God has delivered you from in the past and you realized that this lion, this bear would be no different.

1 Samuel 17:34-37 NIV

So, little by little you find yourself giving your weariness to the God who created you.

Because deep down you STILL refuse to let weariness have a permanent place in your life,

causing you to miss out on the harvest that is to come in due season.

You've been too good too long, doing what pleased The Father to lose it all to weariness.

Remember, The bible says:

Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.

Galatians 6:9 AMP

In other words...Keep on fighting, BELOVED because Jesus himself said that if you would come to HIM in a time of weariness...He would give you rest.

Matt 11:28 NIV

Come to Him, Run to Him in prayer, in relationship, in communion; fellowshiping with Jesus is the most priceless gift you have, through it all.

"Greatness"

Joseph couldn't have been happy with the way his brothers treated him; how they made fun of him for dreaming, throwed him in the pit and had no problem selling him like he was something in the produce section. Then he was lied on by Potiphar's wife and imprisoned; made to have a criminal record even though he was innocent. All this occurred to put Josepn in position to be the governor of Egypt, to save lives, to keep his family during the famine etc.

● Read Genesis Chapters- 37, 39, 41, and 45

BELOVED, I told you all that to remind of your own greatness!! There is not ONE PERSON alive and truly walking in greatness, doing great things for the glory of God who has had an easy past, an easy life. 

You see them where they are now, but they literally have been through HELL emotionally to get where they are. 

That's why you should NEVER be jealous of someone else's success. You don't  know the cost they had to pay to be who they are today.

But you know your journey thus far....The things that God has allowed you to go through, allowed as a part of testimony.

SOMEBODY:

Testify every step of the way that's how you overcome the devil. Rev 12:11 KJV

Don't live in regret or seek to change ANYTHING about your past or present. It's all making you who you are suppose to be in the earth.

Your greatest doors are still ahead...Greatness is being unlocked. So, Don't give up. Don't become weary, looking to make sense of it all. It will all make sense in time.

Gal 6:9 NIV
