4/26/26 "At His Feet"

4/26/26

"At His Feet"
[39] Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught.
[40] But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.” [41] But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! [42] There is only one thing worth being concerned about....
Luke 10:39-42 NLT

How would you feel, if God told you all that worrying you're doing right now is unnecessary?

As a matter of fact, out of everything that has your attention right now, ONLY ONE thing is needed.

Don't get mad because that other person chose not to do everything you're doing. Instead, Learn how to protect your peace.

It's easy to get distracted, to get busy, to get overwhelmed and worried and start trying to blame others....

When all God wants is for you to slow down, sit at His feet and realize that only one thing out of every thing you're doing is needed.

In other words, much of what you're doing can wait. Like Martha, you're worried and upset over details that really do seem so small, when compared to what's really important.

Sit at His feet and learn from Him how to protect your peace, how to be at peace even though, the world, itself is not peaceful.  Sit at His feet and learn to be content like Apostle Paul said.
He let the Philippian church know in Philippians 4:11 (NIV)
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.

To be content whatever the circumstances that type of peace takes maturity. You have to be grown (for real) to understand that type of peace.

So, Go sit at His feet and grow in maturity!!

👉It's time to be at peace.
👉It's time to be content whatever the circumstances.

4/19/26 "Thankful For The Scars"

"Thankful For The Scars"
[24-25] But Thomas, sometimes called the Twin, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples told him, “We saw the Master.” But he said, “Unless I see the nail holes in his hands, put my finger in the nail holes, and stick my hand in his side, I won’t believe it.” [26] Eight days later, his disciples were again in the room. This time Thomas was with them. Jesus came through the locked doors, stood among them, and said, “Peace to you.” [27] Then he focused his attention on Thomas. “Take your finger and examine my hands. Take your hand and stick it in my side. Don’t be unbelieving. Believe.”
John 20:24-27 MSG

BELOVED,
What you went through was not just for you... It's left scars for a reason.

You were meant to be a walking testimony, the answer to someone else's doubt, just like Jesus was the answer to Thomas' doubt.

You were meant to go out your way to help build someone else's faith. There is no such thing as it don't take all that.

If Jesus could go out of His way to be there for Thomas, go out of His way to focus on Thomas....Who are you to say, you can't be there for that person who is showing signs that they need you?

You have been picked, chosen to be the one that can reach that person. Jesus went back a 2nd time to a house He had just visited 8 days prior (8 means New Beginning).
He went back because He knew without Him, Thomas would never believe what the other disciples were telling him.

👉What if you are the key 🔑 to that person's new beginning?
👉What if their faith will never be full without you?
👉What if they can't believe them, but for some reason they will believe it, if it comes from you?
👉Can you sacrifice some of your time, and go back a 2nd time for them?
👉If not for them, do for it Jesus. Show them your scars, even if you scars still feel to you like open wounds.

Until Next Sunday,

4/12/26 "Don't Feel Bad "

4/12/26

"Don't Feel Bad"
[3] When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. [4] Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” [5] So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. [6] Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” [7] Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.
Acts 3:3-7 NIV

Don't feel bad because you gave what you had,
and it was nothing like what they asked for.

Don't feel bad because sometimes, the person asking for help has no idea what they really need.

Money answers all things (Ecclesiates 10:19 KJV), but no where in the bible does it say or even imply that money fixes all things.

There's a noticeable difference between answering and fixing an issue.

If I pick up the phone when you call....That's me answering, but if God blesses me to fix what you didn't even know was the main source of your problem?

Which one serves the greater good?

Well, That's what Peter & John did when they were approached by a cripple beggar on their way into The Temple.

They gave him what they had and it wasn't money because silver and gold was something they didn't have.

Instead, They helped the cripple beggar to get back up on his feet, and that's nothing to feel bad about.

You helped them to get back up on their feet, you helped them reclaim their self- esteem, you help them stop begging.

What more can a person really desire?
You helped them start over using what you had.

So, One more time, God wants me to tell you... Don't feel bad. It's actually a good thing that you didn't have what they asked for.  It was a good thing Peter and John didn't have what that crippled beggar asked for because what was needed was so much deeper and life-changing than money in itself could ever be.

Think About it and keep giving what you have, when you can.
You are making a difference in somebody's life.

Until Next Sunday.

"JESUS, Thank You For The Garden!!"
Jesus,
Everybody wants to talk about The Cross and overlook what you went through, BEFORE you even got to The Cross.

But Not me, I can't just bypass The Garden and go straight to The Cross and forget about how you were betrayed by one of your own, betrayed by somebody close to you, betrayed by the one you gave a title,  the one you gave a position, the one you gave purpose.

Jesus, Thank You For The Garden!!

Because I cannot forget how you were  deeply grieved in The Garden. YOU ALMOST DIED of sorrow (right there in The Garden) and all you wanted was somebody to pray for you, the way you had prayed for them, be there for you, the way you had been for them.

Jesus, Thank You For The Garden!!

My heart aches knowing the disciples were there, but you STILL felt alone in everything you went through.

My heart aches knowing you were stressed out in The Garden to the point that your tears were like drops of blood.

YET, It's the bloody tears that fell from your body that gave me my mind back.

Because for many of us, the 1st thing sin took was our mind.

And The disciples you chose were there, but they were asleep, they were sleeping while you were pacing, going back and forth in The Garden. 1 x, 2 x, 3xs you went to them for help and found them asleep.

The same disciples you taught to pray in Luke 11:1 were not praying with you, keeping watch with you when you needed them to help carry the weight of the spiritual warfare you were feeling.

Jesus,
I repent for not being there when you needed me,  for not being where you need me to be, vigilant and on my post.

My heart aches when I think about how Judas betrayed you for 21.60

How he put a price tag on his relationship with you.
How at the end of the day, you didn't mean more to Judas than a measly $21.60.

And how sleep was more important to the other disciples than staying awake, watching with the one that had watched over them time after time.

You never sleep nor slumbered on them (Psalm 121:3), but they couldn't stand guard over you, stay awake with you for 1 hour.

Jesus,
All you needed was an hour (60 minutes) and many of us fail to give you that.

Nothing is sacred anymore.  I don't think we even know the meaning of the word.

Judas deliberately brought your enemies into The Garden. John 18:2 says HE KNEW the place... It was a place you had often shared with your disciples (it was a sacred space), but still....

Jesus, Thank You For The Garden!!

Thank you for praying YOURSELF through and giving up YOUR WILL -your desire to have that cup (of wrath) pass from you, for me.
Thank you for choosing The Father’s Will Over Your Own.

Until Next Sunday.
