"No Serpents No Scropins"

Behold! I have given you authority and power  to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and (physical and mental strength and ability) over the power that the enemy (possesses); and nothing shall in any way harm you.
Luke 10:19 AMPC

Beloved, God has given you authority...The word "authority" means the power  or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.
The word "Behold" in the bible means don't miss it.

You have been missing it for too long. You have not tapped into the authority/power that God has given you.

You have literally let serpents- toxic connections, toxic relationships make you sick with worry, sick with stress, sick with the spirit of depression and/or oppression. All of which are attacks on your head (your mental capacity) that shows up physically in your  body.

You have literally let scorpions- people sent by the devil get close enough to you to sting you, to hurt you, to break your heart...WATCH YOUR ASSOCIATIONS  in this season. Not all associations are God sent or the good thing you've been praying for.

NO MORE ...
NOTHING SHALL
IN ANY WAY HARM YOU!

Focus Points:

1. Be more attentive. ...Ask questions. Don't just take people and situations at face value because that's what you want to see and believe.

2. Ask God for the spirit to discern ( to know,  to detect the difference, though hidden from the casual eye).

3. You have power. ..Use it.

4. You have authority...Command it.

5. Give orders....You know what you want, order it to be done for you.
According to your faith be it unto you.  Matt 9:29 KJV

6. Make decisions....You don't have to keep living undecided.
You shall decree a thing. Job 22:28 AMPC

7. Enforce Obedience -Because obedience is better than sacrifice...You don't have to keep living without.
1 Sam 15:23 KJV

You are powerful ...Trample some things under you feet!!!

"The Weight Of Responsibility"

Think with me: If Jesus had all those siblings...Why  didn't he, when he was preparing to die on the cross choose to leave his mother in the care of  one of his siblings? 

Instead the bible says:
26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, "Woman, here is your son,"
27 and to the disciple, "Here is your mother. "
From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
John 19:26-27 NIV

Jesus chose to give his mother to his beloved disciple, John and have her live with him.

Looks like Jesus himself,  knew what it was like to have  siblings that were irresponsible and Him, being the oldest having to make up for their shortcomings.

In this,  I want you to see that...

Focus Points:

1.Jesus made the best possible decision he could under the circumstances.

2.  You were made in the image and likeness of Jesus...Therefore, you too are capable of making the best  decision, capable of making the best of things, despite your current situation.

3. You don't  always have to make the obvious choice and appease people.
(Jesus leaving his mother in the care of one of his siblings would have been the obvious choice...But it wasn't his choice).

4. Just because they are related to you...That doesn't mean they can do things as efficient as you.

5. The weight of responsibility is real, but if God chose you for the task....You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
Philip 4:13

6. Their shortcomings are just that >>>THEIRS!

"Resilience"

Resilience that's the WORD for every Mother reading this....meaning you have the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties.

And Motherhood has had its many difficulties,  but still you have recovered well.

You are a Proverbs 31 Woman/Mother....
Proverbs 31 (AMPC) opens with this mother talking to her son, warning him about certain women.

Have you had that talk with your child about relationships and the only thing certain women want, the only thing certain men want?

She talked to her son about the affects  strong drinks (alcohol) would have on his countenance.

Have you had that talk with your child about the affects of alcohol, drugs, unprotected sex etc...How such behavior could affect their countenance?

If all that wasn't enough...The Proverbs 31 Woman/Mother was also a wife.
She had to run her household, and provide, not just natural food, but rise early to get SPIRITUAL FOOD for her household.
Yes, she was the Preacher/Prophetess of her house. Are you?
She was the person her husband trusted the most. Are you?
She was a business woman buying and selling; running her business, her household , caring for her husband,  caring for her son (her children).

If any or all of this is you...
God bless your resilience SUPER MOM.

Enjoy your day and whatever tomorrow holds... EMBRACE IT. You are resilent.

"Praying For The Blended Family"

1 Samuel Chapter 1 CEV

Elkanah & Penninah had children together...Elkanah &:Hannah did not.

Verse 6-7 CEV:
Penninah liked to make Hannah feel miserable about not having any children, especially when THE FAMILY went to the house of the LORD each year.

In the text, We discover some of the struggles that are common in Blended Families.
So, My 5 Minutes of Focus assignment going into Monday morning is to PRAY;
Pray For Blended Families.

Father God,
I pray for that man or woman with children from a previous relationship that's trying to bring their NEW FAMILY together as one; in spite of Penninah's childish behavior.

Father, Give them the strength to patiently address every issue with a wisdom that only YOU can provide.

Touch that spouse that seems to be having divided loyalty....They are torned between the two relationships. One relationship that IS and one relationship that HAS TO BE because of the children.

Help them to not show favoritism one way or the other and to find what works best for THEM all as a family.
Touch the children and help them to adapt and accept this NEW BLEND.

Help the children to know they're not losing the ONE PARENT they've always known and relied on,  but in time, they will gain an additional person and siblings (prehaps) to love.

I bind all Spirits in operation that are trying to DIVIDE and CONQUER the family, the marriage, the children. YOU SHALL be blended well. In spite of, Penninah's behavior (female or male), In spite of rebellious tenagers etc.

I decree and declare: You will be so well blended, that outsiders looking in, won't even be able to tell how HARD you've WORKED to accomplish it.
In Jesus Name.
Amen

Beloved, I truly believe that some are called into a BLENDED FAMILY; but few are actually CHOSEN. It really does take a grace like no other.

"What If Loving Them Is Not Enough?"
1 Samuel  Chapter 1

Elkanah had two wives Penninah and Hannah...Penninah had children, Hannah did not. But because Elkanah LOVED Hannah and the LORD had closed her womb, he gave her a double portion.
Her rival, Penninah kept provoking her. This went on for years.  Elkanah  would say to her, Hannah, why are you weeping?  Why don't you eat? Why are you downhearted? Don't I mean more to you than ten sons?"

You see,  Elkanah loved Hannah and he just couldn't understand, why his love was not enough to satisfy her,  she wanted more....Hannah wanted children.

Dear Single One,
Those of you who think getting married is just going to magically fix everything.

God told me to tell you: If you are not satisfied now, if you have unfulfilled desires now...Getting married won't necessarily  satisfy or fulfill those desires.

Hannah was married. She had a husband that LOVED HER and still she had to cry many a days, many a nights.

Marriage won't end your tears. Hannah still had to go to God in prayer and keep going to God in prayer.

Until Prayer changed EVERYTHING.  Hannah's breakthrough came forth 1st in the PRAYER room and then manifested itself in the BEDROOM....But many of you think,  "If I can just get married,  ALL my problems will be solved. "
Real love is beautiful. Sex is powerful...But Prayer is essential to it all.

Focus Points:

1. Marrriage cannot fill up a heart that is searching....Only God and prayer can do that.

2. Work on you....If your desire is to be debt free,  own a home, be self -employed...Don't wait until you're  booed up (married) to try and obtain it.

3. Remember: You were born for your desires, YOU...and a spouse entering the mix is just an added blessing.

"Regaining Your Sight"

In Chapter 1 of the Book of Ruth:

Ruth's husband dies in the place they where  living called Moab...After his death, she relocates with her mother-in-law, Naomi back to Judah.

In Chapter 2 of the Book of Ruth: Going to work to provide for her and Naomi; there, Ruth meets Boaz.

Here's the part, I want you to think about:
Had Ruth not been healed, but still hurt (grieving) ...Even though she was in the field with Boaz, she would not  have been able to see what was right in front of her.

SOMEBODY: Until you get successfully healed from what happened in the 1st Chapter...You're not ready for what God has for you in this, the 2nd Chapter of your life.
You can't see the future while yet living in the past.

If Ruth's mind had still been in Moab, grieving over her dead husband...It's very possible the ONLY thing, she would have been ABLE TO SEE  in that field that day was a great job opportunity.

Beloved, There is so much more waiting on you..It would be a shame, a real  waste of God's time and creativity, if you didn't  get to see, experience, have it all.

But in order to do that....Some emotional doors have to close permanently.
Some feelings must heal. Some thoughts must change.
Sight must be renewed.

Focus Points:

1. Take some time to heal YOU.
2.  Your eyes can be broken, just as much as your heart.
Therefore, Ask God to heal, to renew your sight.
3. Live every day slowly removing valuable pieces of YOU from Chapter 1..It wasn't all bad,  you can savage something.
4. Get the mindset of the REBUILDER. You're not torn down, your foundation is still strong which means in the right soil (situation and time)...You will be able to see, experience, have, rebuild your life.

Hope I've given you much to meditate on this week.

"After THIS"

After THIS Job lived....
Job 42:16 NIV

After what? After having constructed his life a certain way and losing it all.

You see, often we construct our lives the way we want our lives to be. Gathering for ourselves this and that,  gathering to ourselves this person and that person...To the point that we can't possibly imagine our lives without it all, without them .

Job had to face the loss of his whole world ( his wife not included).

But Job soon would learn that after loss, after  pain comes INCREASE....A family still to love, wealth still to enjoy and issues that can heal.
Oh yes, After THIS Job lived...

And you can too. Stop trying to do it yourself, your way and let God resurrect your life, your loss with the people and things he desires for you.
Father knows BEST! Trust Him.
His resurrection power is real.

Focus Point:
Here's the only thing you need to remember....Sometimes our Plans need to fall apart for HIS truly to unfold.
