"The Ungrateful"

Jesus continued: There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.

Luke 15:11‭-‬12 NIV

Imagine the child you have provided for all these years, standing in your face asking you for their share of the estate.

Imagine how you would feel, if you knew your child couldn't wait for you to die so that they could inherit your estate (inherit your money, your property, etc.)

The Prodigal Son's father had to be extremely hurt...KNOWING the son he raised was now disrespecting him over some money. He couldn't wait until his father was deceased to collect. He wanted it all NOW!! 

But still, His father sucked it up, hid his hurt and gave his child what he wanted.

To All the parents out there, hiding the hurt, sucking it up, trying to please a UNGRATEFUL child... 

God sees what it's doing to your heart.1 Samuel16:7

But let them grow up, let them go off on their own.

Once they've had a taste of the real world...They will come to their senses just like The Prodigal Son did.

He came to his senses after  he had spent all he had and was hungry, working at a job that was beneath him.

 So, He said, I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.I am no longer worthy to be called your son.... 

Luke 15:18-19 NIV

He came back repenting and your ungrateful child will too, eventually...Eventually they will realize just how good they had it  and seek to make things right.

"The Wounds"

For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they called you an outcast...

Jeremiah 30:17 NKJV

God says, He's going to heal you because of what they said about you!!

Because they called you an outcast...

Because they called you a failure....

Because they called you a loser....

Because they called a good for nothing B...

God is going to heal your wounds.

The wounds you received growing up in your parents house, the wounds you received in that toxic relationship, the wounds you received in that marriage that was unequally yoked.

God is going to heal all your wounds...God is going to heal all the damage the words of their mouth has caused you.

You see, right now, they look at you and they don't understand why you act "a certain way" around them.

They don't understand that seeing them is a trigger.

They don't understand that hearing their voice is a trigger.

They don't understand the wounds you have suffered.

But Jesus understands. 

Jesus understands because He had to go over to the house where Thomas was staying and show him His wounds in order for him to believe.

John 20:26-28 NLT

Beloved,

They don't believe what you're going through or have been through...God will have to show them evidence of what they caused. Otherwise, they won't believe you.

Maybe one day, but today, right now...YOU ARE GOD'S 1ST priority and He is going to get you healed because of what they said about you.

Receive your healing. In Jesus name!!

"The Enemy Is Defeated"

Sometimes the enemy will use something so petty in an attempt to come between you and that other person.

But when you can take what was so petty and make it no big deal....The enemy is defeated.

Remember the bible asks the question: 

Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?

Amos 3:3 NIV

So, When you can keep it moving DESPITE the attacks that has come to try to stop you from moving forward, stop you from walking together in unity...The enemy is defeated.

In Acts 15: Barnabas and Paul separated over the role Mark should play when they decided to return to the places where they had preached the gospel. Barnabas wanted to take Mark on the journey, but Paul was convinced this was not a good idea because Mark had abandoned them during their first journey. 

Acts 15:36-41 NIV

Even if you have to separate from that other person for a season for the sake of ministry, business, or your own personal goals, personal choices...

If that's the decision you have to make to keep it moving and not let the enemy defeat you.

So, Be It. 

All break ups are not bad, some are purposeful, some are pre-approved, pre-destined so that you can keep it moving, unhindered doing the will of The Father.

"How Is Your Mind?"

A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”

Mark 5:25‭-‬28 NLT

For 11 years, her mind was set on what the people said about her. (They said she was unclean because of what was going on in her body).

So, For 11 years, her mind was set on going from doctor to doctor, trying to find the medical help she needed. Her mind was set on her finances and would she have enough money to pay for all her doctors.

But in the 12 year of what she was going through, her mind changed, her thoughts changed. She had heard about Jesus and thought, "If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed."

Beloved, It's time your mindset changed. Stop thinking about what the people said.

Stop thinking about if you will  have enough money to pay for it all.

Instead, Remember what you heard about Jesus. Remember what you know about Jesus.

Like the psalmist said:

When my soul is in the dumps, I rehearse everything I know of you,...

Psalms 42:6‭ MSG

Rehearse what you know of Jesus.

Think about how Jesus has NEVER failed you, in spite of people, in spite of your finances or lack of finances.

Your healing starts with your thinking.

She thought she would be healed and so she was.

Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.

Mark 5:29 NLT

5 Minutes Of Focus 

"Give And It Shall..."

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Luke 6:38 KJV

Most people just consider this to be "that scripture" that proves money is coming back to those who give money.

Give and it shall be given.

But God says, This scripture is  for those of you who serve in any capacity.

You are always the 1st to volunteer to help with the giving out of school supplies.

You feed the homeless.

Around Thanksgiving time, you always volunteer in the soup kitchen.

You make sure the church bathroom is always clean.

You play the role of counselor, you are always on the phone, trying to uplift & encourage others.

You give out of your own personal need to help others, to keep them from going without.

God sees all you do. How you serve even when you don't feel like it.

Therefore God says, Luke 6:38 is NOT just for those of you who give money, those of you who paid your tithes & offering.

But God says, Because you  have served well (when nobody was looking)....God says, He going to cause men to give into your bossom.

NOT only that, but God says, He is restoring time back to you.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten....

Joel 2:25 KJV

For all those of you who have spent your time faithfully serving others.

God is giving that time back....

And He's causing men to give unto you- to invest in you.

You have proven to be a good financial investment in the eyesight of God... Because you put others 1st and were never selfish, not even when you had a good reason to be.

Watch what's about to find it's way back to your bossom.

Do It God!!

Somebody receive it!!

5 Minutes of Focus 

"Fight!!"

We are all in a fight, but how we CHOOSE to show up DAILY to the fight will determine the outcome. 

So, Are you choosing to complain, to be mad, to be frustrated?

Is that how you're choosing to show up to the fight?

Or are you preparing yourself daily for the fight you have been assigned to. 

Believe it or not, the fight you're in is the fight you've been assigned to.

Saul thought David was just some young rooky, volunteering to fight Goliath. David had to let him know that he had been tending HIS FATHER'S SHEEP and fighting lions & bears. 

1 Samuel 17:33-38 NIV

God was training him back then for the fight he was assigned to, for the fight that would change how people saw him.

Think About It: What is it in your past that could have possibly been training you, God preparing you for what you're fighting now? 

In 1 Samuel 17: We see David getting ready to go fight Goliath. 

The 1st thing he does is pull off what doesn't fit the assignment.

In this season, Stop holding on to things just because it was given to you. If it doesn't fit where God is taking you, get rid of the clutter.

David filled his bag with stones  instead!! What's in your bag?

In your bag should be weapons like:

● Faith- "All things are possible."

Mark 9,:23- That should be your mindset. 

● The Word Of God- Your 2 edged sword. Heb 4:12

● Prayer- Daniel prayed and his words were heard the very 1st day, but the answer came with warfare!!

Daniel 10:12-13

● Sow - And it shall multiply a 30, 60, 100 fold return.

Mark 4:20

● Serve- Give it shall be given to you.

Luke 6:38

Get prepared. Show up. Keep fighting until you win!!

"Identifying Sarah"

Genesis 20:18 NIV

for the Lord had kept all the women in Abimelek’s household from conceiving because of Abraham’s wife Sarah.

NONE of the women in Abimelek’s household could conceive because of Sarah.

She was keeping them from being mothers, keeping them for bringing forth life,  keeping them from opening up and pushing.

I wonder who is it in your house  or associated with you that's doing the same thing to you?

Who is it that's keeping you from opening up, from pushing to have more, to be more?

Who is it that's responsible for you not being able to conceive a miracle, not being able to add to your life, whose stopping you from being great?

Sarah was the reason, Abimelek’s house was in the shape it was in.

You see, Beloved...People can either bless your house or hinder the productivity of your house.

Therefore, More than ever in these last days:

 ● You need to KNOW who you are coming in contact with.

● You need to be able to discern whether that person is a healthy or an unhealthy addition to your life, your home, your family.

● Joseph was a blessing to Potiphar's house. Everything Potiphar had was blessed because Joseph was there.

Gen 39:5 NIV

● Same with Jacob...The bible says, Laban was blessed by his association to Jacob, blessed because of Jacob.

Gen 30:27 NIV

Father God,

I pray discernment on everybody you have placed under the sound of my voice.

I pray that they be able to discern a Sarah from a Joseph or Jacob.

I pray that they be able to discern who it is the enemy has sent to stop them from producing,to stop them from being productive.

SOMEBODY: The infertility issues you are having is tied to that person you have opened  your home to.

If Sarah could be the reason the Lord would keep the women in Abimelek’s house from conceiving....

Don't you think, you need to be more aware of that person that's in your house?

Stop telling people to make themselves at home in your house.

Because people are not just people...But people are SPIRITS and NOT all SPIRITS are of God.

You could easily be opening your home to a Spirit that's NOT of God....A spirit sent there by satan to hinder you and your household.

Especially if you have been decreeing & declaring, " As for me & my house we will serve the LORD."

Joshua 24:15 

So, Stop That!!

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God...

1 John 4:1 NIV

Father God, I ask that you forgive us in our ignorance  for the things we have said and the things we have allowed to go on in our homes.

If we have unknowingly entertained a witch or warlock, unknowingly associated ourselves with soothsayers...

We ask you to forgive us

To open our eyes where we have been blind.

To wipe the walls of our house clean, to rid our house of any Spirit that's NOT your Holy Spirit that might be penetrating the walls, activated by who is in our house or  by the company we keep.

Therefore,

We apply the blood of Jesus on the door post of our homes and we ask that you spiritual evict every spirit present that shouldn't be.

Evict them-Kick them out!!

Help us to discern our Sarah's and treat them accordingly.
