"This Time It’s For God"

[6] Again the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” “My son,” Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” [7] Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. [8] A third time the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. 

1 Samuel 3:6-8 NIV

3×s God called Samuel.

3 xs God has called  you - representing the different seasons of your life, but because the voice sounded familiar, you kept running to people like Samuel did Eli, expecting them to say it was them.

It was God all along calling you. He needs you to stop running to people who have no idea what you're talking about, because they didn't call you and listen for His instructions.

You think that affliction was sent to hurt you, but God allowed it, so that your ears would finally be open, ready to listen. 

And NOW that you're out of what you were in....GOD RESCUED YOU...Are you ready to listen?

[15] He rescues the afflicted in their affliction, And opens their ears [so that they pay attention to His voice] in times of oppression.

Job 36:15 AMP

He's calling you by name just like He called Samuel. Give Him your "Yes Lord!!"

This is your season to be the person God needs you to be for Him. For too many seasons, you have been the person you wanted to be or who others needed you to be. This season right here is for God.

[36] For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
