Knowing Too Much Is Dangerous lll

"You're Not Ready"

Before, Adam & Eve KNEW they were naked...They were confident, secure in their relationship, unashamed of their bodies and enjoying fellowship with God.
Genesis 3

But all that changed, the minute they ate the fruit and discovered they were naked.

Sin caused them to be uncovered BOTH physically & emotionally for the 1st time, sin put them in a place of vulnerability.

A place they weren't ready for, they weren't ready to see themselves naked; to know themselves COMPLETELY, FULLY like that, for the 1st time.

They weren't ready...Just like you aren't ready to know some things about yourself, you're not ready to know ALL of what's next for you.

Beloved, What if God against his own better judgment were to answer ALL YOU QUESTIONS PRE-MATURELY what's to stop you from feeling some type of way?

What's to stop you reeling out of control emotionally...If you were to hear or feel a check in YOUR SPIRIT that contradicts what you think you want or need at this time, rather than confirm it?

As strong as you think you are...Most likely, You'll start feeling some type a way. You'll start feeling discouraged. You'll start looking around, envying others and before you know it...

You have LOST interest in the things GOD told you to do.
Psalm 73:2-3 NIV

Now, You are no longer active in your process, active in your journey towards becoming....

Instead, You are bailing out on the process because things are not manifesting fast ENOUGH FOR YOU.

God knows you...
He knows what you are emotionally mature enough to take right now without losing it, in the middle of your process, in middle of your journey.

You just remember...
Delayed doesn't mean denied.

It just means you need more to time to grow up (You're not ready as it says in 1 Corin 3:2 NIV) to go from the milk of THE WORD to the meat- chewing and digesting truth.

All the while, STILL trusting in God, that he who began a good work IN YOU will complete it....

7/25/21"Knowing Too Much Is Dangerous Part ll "

7/25/21

5 Minutes of Focus

"Knowing Too Much Is Dangerous Part ll"

Timing is SO important to God that He literally has conversations DELAYED; conversations he wants to have with YOU delayed...UNTIL you are mature enough to hear and handle what He has to say.

● He doesn't want you to be like Samuel in the Old Testament; young and needing Eli to identify his voice.
1 Samuel 3

● No, Beloved, You are of the New Testament; which means we are the sheep that is SUPPOSE TO KNOW His voice.
John 10

So, He is delaying further details...

Much like how your parents didn't FULLY disclose EVERYTHNG you needed to know about life & relationships when you were yet a child.

God is NOT going to tell you EVERYTHING now...Just because you're 30 years old,  you're 40 years old in the physical. Whose to say you're that old spiritually?

Remember, The bible refers to us as The Children of God...NOT the adult children of God.

● But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
John 1:12 NLT

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
Romans 8:16 NKJV

AGAIN, We are Not the adult children of God.
"My adult children" is a man made term or phrase used to reflect age.

God doesn't care about age whether it's a 1000 years or 1 day it's all the same to Him according to 2 Pet 3:8 KJV

You have to understand, that God made Eve and presented her to Adam which means God was the 1st touch her and the 1st to cover her, and he knew Eve better than she even knew herself.

So, When she ate the fruit and gave some to her husband, trying to gain wisdom....

God already knew the wisdom, she would gain would send her reeling. The moment she bit the fruit and wised up to the fact that she was naked...

Eve began to feel insecure, self-conscious, ashamed of her nakedness.
She began to worry about the shape of her body and they (Adam & Eve) BOTH were experiencing fear for the 1st time; they were afraid and hiding themselves from God...

Hiding themselves; hiding their naked bodies from the God who created their bodies.
What sense does that make?

All because they wanted to know too much...Knowing Too Much Is Dangerous.

Before; THEY KNEW  they were naked...They were confident, secure in their relationship, unashamed of their bodies and enjoying fellowship with God.
Genesis 3

And beloved, you are NO DIFFERENT.... If God against his own better judgment were to answer ALL YOU QUESTIONS PRE-MATURELY what's
to stop you from feeling some type of way and send you reeling out of control emotionally like Eve?

What's to stop you from hearing or feeling a check in YOUR SPIRIT that says "NO, You're Not Ready or NO, Not Yet"...

And as strong as you think you are...You start feeling some type a way.You start feeling discouraged. You start looking around, envying others and before you know it...
You have LOST interest in the things GOD told you to do....

You are no longer active in your process, active in your journey towards becoming....

Instead, There you are, bailing out on the process
because things are not manifesting fast ENOUGH FOR YOU.

God knows you...
He knows what you are emotionally mature enough to take right now without losing it, in the middle of your process, in middle of your journey...

"Honor Your Own Uniqueness"

Can somebody tell me...Why do we feel the urge to always check out the way another person is doing, what they do?

It's as if, checking out the way they do it is suppose to "somehow" help us in what we're doing.

But here's what I love about the Apostle Paul....When God saved him, and MADE HIM to be an Apostle...

In scripture the Apostle Paul says:

15 But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased

16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

17 I did not go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went into Arabia. Later I returned to Damascus.
Galatians 1:15-17 NIV

His IMMEDIATE  response was not to consult any human being...He didn't go see those who were Apostles before him. That WHOLE Part!!!
Though they had been walking in their calling as an Apostle much longer than him....

👉 He didn't look to them for a pattern to do what he had been called to do.

👉 In other words, He didn't go check them out.

👉 Instead, He trusted the God that called  him and he began to travel, to move, to operate in what he had been called to.

👉 I hope that right there, frees somebody.

👉 Stop trying to pattern yourself after people, looking to see how they do, what they do.

Have you ever stop to think that what works for them, might not work for you?

Yes, It's okay to have mentors and to learn from them, but EVEN THEN ...You can't do EVERYTHING they do.

God made YOU unique in your existence for a reason. He doesn't need you to be EXACTLY like anyone else.

The way they lead, conduct business, do this & that is unique to who God made them to be.

For Example: I love Prophetess Juanita Bynum and consider her a great mentor, among others...BUT I KNOW, I can't do what she does, the way she does it AND THAT'S OKAY.

Honor your own uniqueness.

Trust the God that called you and get out there.

YOUR GIFT will make room for you.
Proverbs 18:16 NKJ

So, Take your eyes off them....
Comparing yourself is NOT wise.

7/11/21 'Tell Your Story "

"Tell Your Story"

But Jesus turned to see who had touched him. The woman knew what had happened to her. So she came trembling with fear and knelt down in front of Jesus. Then she told him the whole story.
Mark 5:32‭-‬33 CEV

Beloved, Your faith just might require you to take a risk.

In the text, The woman with the issue of blood took the risk neccesary to get healed from her past & present situation, a situation that had already lasted 12 long years of her life.

It was a risk because she was a WOMAN, bleeding (considered unclean), considered unfit to be out in public.

But I really believe God is pushing a lot of you to the forefront to publicly tell your story.

Therefore, This is no time to be afraid because of people....

SOMEBODY needs to hear your story. SOMEBODY needs to hear what God has brought you through.

You may be a little shy at 1st, timid even.  That's understandable...Public speaking is a common fear for a lot of people.

I'm sure, the woman with the issue of blood never thought she would be publicly giving her testimony out in a crowd of people.

But here she was, telling Jesus the whole story with all eyes & ears on her.

And she was doing it afraid...

The text says: She was trembling with fear which means the words that came out of her mouth in that moment weren't perfectly thought out.

She wasn't the most eloquent speaker, but God was using her. She wasn't bold as a lion, but God was using her.

And Guess what? God can use you too.

Beloved, No More Excuses...
It's time to step up and tell your story publicly.

God says: Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
Exodus 4:12 NIV

"Knowing Too Much Is Dangerous!"

The serpent said to Eve: “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Genesis 3:5‭-‬6 NIV

Here, Eve was; she had a marriage that was working and she lived in The Garden so she didn't physically have to work, everything was provided.

Can you imagine NOT having any worries or concerns?

Eve didn't have to worry about bills or concern herself with any of the day to day issues we know & face today.

As a matter of fact, God made Adam and Eve to be so comfortable in their own skin, that they didn't even know they were walking around naked.
That's just how comfortable they were.

But still, Eve wasn't satisfied. So, she ate the fruit in order to gain the wisdom she desired. She wanted to know what she didn't know, she wanted to know it all.

But knowing it all, knowing too much, too soon is dangerous.

And somebody: You desire to know more than God is WILLING to tell you right now.

There's a lot going on in your life right now and you want answers and that's understandable.

But what if, God against his own better judgment answered all your questions PRE- MATURELY and you ended up falling like Adam & Eve did?

Falling because you were not prepared to know EVERYTHING you think you want to know.

In John 13:8 CEV Jesus answered (those at the feet washing ceremony) saying,
“You don't really know what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

Beloved, Trust that later you will understand what you don't understand right now and let that be enough.

Don't fall into trouble wanting to know too much too soon.

Until Next Sunday.
