Marriage I

‭‭Genesis 2:18 AMP‬‬

[18] Now the Lord God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] suitable and complementary for him.” 

Married couples:

Look at your spouse...

Does that person bring a sense of balance to who you are?

Is that person suitable for you, suitable for the lifestyle you have chosen?

Could their presence be easily viewed as a  compliment or insult to who you are?

 

Any negative responses is an area where God is saying you and your spouse need to work things out.

Single people: 

Ask yourself the same questions in regards to the person you got your eyes on, the person you are currently dating.

Father God,

Look upon every help-mate, finding it hard to help their mate. They're trying, but without your help nothing will be accomplished that needs to be accomplished. It will just be another day of wasted energy, wasted effort.

But with you, God... The things that look impossible for this marriage will be. Mark 9:23 declares that NOT SOME, but ALL things are possible for him who believes.

Therefore, I believe for unity, joy, and peace in marriages that appear to be struggling right now.

I pray for understanding where there has been misunderstanding and for the willingness to talk where there has been a lack of communication. 

Father God,

Give every wife under the sound of my voice a heart for her husband and every husband a heart for you, MAKE Him a man after your own heart, GOD.

Teach him how to love his wife as Christ loved The Church and gave Himself for it.

Teach him the sacrifices his wife needs (because NOT every woman needs the same thing) , teach him how to sacrifice himself for her, to be unselfish towards her, always thinking of her, before he thinks of himself,  his own wants & needs.

And Teach her to respect her husband and submit to him as unto YOU, GOD. 

Teach her that's it's okay to follow him as long as he is following YOU.

Teach her to FINALLY put down her water pot (John 4:28) Her waterpot- ALL the things she's felt she's had to carry on her own all this time.

Help her to feel safe enough to finally let down her guard.

"Do It For Jesus"

‭‭

[34] Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

Luke 23:34 NIV

Here, Jesus was on The Cross experiencing the greatest pain of His earthly life...

Right in the midst of them casting lots (gambling) for His  clothes....They were determined to leave Jesus naked (stripped, humiliated, and in pain).

Even so, Jesus BEFORE He breathed His last breathe and died for you and me, illustrated for us a powerful lesson on what it really looks like to forgive.

From The Cross, while it still hurt, the pain was still fresh and they were still doing what they were doing...Jesus says to The Father: " Father, Forgive them."

Why? Because they don't know what they are doing (present tense). Doing mean they're still doing it, it wasn’t done.

Somebody struggling today with forgiving that person because they are not sorry, they are still doing it, and the pain is still fresh...

If you can't forgive them for yourself or for the simple fact that they are acting out of ignorance...Can you at least, do it for Jesus?

Forgive them now. Do it for Jesus, so that what He suffered on The Cross at the hands of those He chose to ask forgiveness for will not be in vain.

Did they deserve it? No

Was any of them sorry for what they were doing?

No

But think about this...There was once a time when you and I were sinners (actively) living against God. (Rom 5:6 NCV) and were we sorry? No

We were still sinners (Rom 5:8 NCV) enjoying ourselves...The bible even says that sin is pleasurable for a season. 

Hebrews 11:24-25 KJV

So, The next time you come face to face with that person who is actively sinning against God, sinning against YOU (hurting you, causing you pain)...Remember, They did the same thing to Jesus and you and I are responsible.

The only reason Jesus was on that Cross was to take the punishment we deserved, He was obeying the Will of the Father for US.

‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son...But what if, Jesus had said, "NO?" 🤔

"Stop It!!" 

[11] When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child; I made plans like a child. When I became a man, I stopped those childish ways. 

1Corinthians 13:11 ICB

No Clapping Back (verbally)

No fighting back (physically)...

You're a grown man, you're grown wo-man now.

No more excuses for you behaving like Peter every time things don't go the way you wanted them to...Put your physical sword away and pick up the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

John 18, Hebrews 4:12

Begin to cast down EVERYTHING that goes against God or is actively preying on your mind (by way of your imagination).

2 Corinthians 10:5

Your Imagination is powerful when used in faith and NOT as part of the devil's agenda.

He's the Father of lies which means you can't believe ANYTHING he says.

John 8:44

Instead,

Safe your breath for prayer...You don't have breath to waste on the devil's mess or messy people. 

Remember, It was in a prayer meeting that Peter got free. It happened 1st in the Spirit realm when some prayer warriors prayed and then in the natural when chains fell off him in the prison.

Acts 12

Saul was praying when Jesus gave instructions for Ananias to go to the house where he was staying and heal him of blindness.

Acts 9

So, What is God saying to you? Don't focus on the physical fight, focus on the spiritual fight (spiritual warfare).

"Left Over Hurt"

‭‭John‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[12] When they had all had enough to eat, Jesus said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” 

This was right after, He had successfully fed 5,000 people. Jesus told His disciples to gather the pieces that were left over.

And I feel He's saying the same thing to same of you where your heart is concerned.

Beloved,

Pick up the pieces and give what's broken to God, give all that left over hurt to God.

👉 You can trust Him with ALL of your heart...Even the part that's broken.

👉 You're trying so hard to understand why this happened and why that happened...

But God says, Do not depend on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5 ICB

👉You have wasted too much time already trying to understand.

Just trust that God is going to make it all make sense. He's going to bring it all together and cause it to work for your good according to Romans 8:28

Just because you don't understand right now that doesn't mean that you never will... STOP TRYING TO FORCE IT!!

Remember what Jesus told Simon Peter:

[6] Jesus came to Simon Peter. But Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” [7] Jesus answered, “You don’t understand what I am doing now. But you will understand later.”

John 13:6-7 ICB

Let God clean up what He needs to clean up, wash what He needs to wash or wipe clean concerning you. 

SOMEBODY:

Your record is being wiped clean, that divorced is being wiped clean. God is giving you a fresh start. Be patient!! Nothing is being wasted.

"Still Hurting"

But they called to him, “Jesus! Master! Please help us!” When Jesus saw the men, he said, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” While the ten men were going, they were healed. 

Luke 17:13-14 ICB

As much as you would like to just throw the covers back over your head and pretend like the last few years never happened...

It's time to get up, get out of that bed and show yourself to people.

Make them a witness to the healing God is doing in your life.Yes, You're still hurting but I promise you that when you get to where you're going...

It won't hurt anymore. 

God is healing you as you go.

So, Get out that bed and keep going. Don't give up!!

Your future is connected to your next move, and your next move, and your next move.

Why do you think the bible says, The steps of a good man (a good person) are ordered by the Lord?

Psalm 37:23 KJV

Steps -meaning you have to move, you have to keep going even though you don't feel like it physically or mentally. YOUR STEPS ARE ORDERED!!

RIght now, You are still hurting, but the hurt shall pass. You are being healed (gradually) as you go...AND When it is that you FINALLY notice that you're healed completely, do me a favor...Thank My God,

Thank Jesus!!

"Rest Your Mind"

You give your mind to so many things during the day that there's barely any time left for you to reflect on the things that are of "personal importance " to you.

Indeed, Most days your mind feels like it's in a race, a race to perform well over here, and to manage well over there.

Before you know it, your mind is all over the place...And you feel like you're fighting a losing battle.

‭

[28] But God says, Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.(Not just physically, but mentally, I will give you rest).

Matthew 11:28 NIV

Because some of you are weary, heavily burdened in your mind. It's your mind that needs the rest. God says, You can come to Him with what's on your mind.

And in exchange for your thoughts, your worries, your concerns He will give you rest, He will give you peace. No need to be anxious about anything; don't do that. 

Philippians 4:6 NIV

(For) The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.

Psalms 29:11 NIV

Beloved,

Begin to see peace as a gift that God blesses you with. It's NOT something you have to contend for. Although, that's exactly what the devil wants you to think.

He enjoys seeing you fight to hold your peace, fighting for your sanity, fighting just to rest. He enjoys seeing you double-minded and unstable in all you do. 

James 1:8 NIV

YOU DON'T HAVE TO CONTEND- you don't have to fight..Rest...Just rest in what is a gift from God.

Our peace is God Himself according to Ephesians 2:14.

Close your eyes & breathe Him in.

"The Rejector Is Being Rejected!!"

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

[7] The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

[11] He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.

God is looking at your heart. He knows what you wanted and what you STILL want today, if the choice was yours alone to make.

He sees the love that was, but He also sees the rejection that came and kept on coming. 

Back then, you were loved, but NOT valued for the amazing person you are...They couldn’t see your value. 

Until Now!! Now that people have started devaluing them, rejecting them....

God says, It had to happen this way. God says, I know, It's seems like I have taken you the long way, just to get you to today.

 It's been a long time coming, but it's happening...The rejector is being rejected in order to learn to appreciate your value, in order for them to see what they had in you all this time.

God is making them tired, making what's out there unappealing to them and vice versa. They are unappealing, they don't fit in with what's out there now either. 

So, Keep Believing....No one else will be able to take and keep what God has marked in the Spirit realm and is manifesting for you.

Stay out of it and let God do it.

Pray and keep on praying.
