"Closing Doors!!" 

[34] Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Luke‬ 23:34 NIV

[30] When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

John 19:30 NIV

‭When Jesus said it is FINISHED on The Cross He meant it. The hurt, the pain, the shame....All of it.

It Is finished. And so, (from a place of WHOLENESS) He was able to ask the Father to forgive those who were hurting Him, while they were STILL hurting him, mocking Him, splitting on Him etc.

BELOVED, If you don't ever get the closure you need from that other person, you can close the door yourself by declaring within yourself that it is finished.

Some things might still be going on in the natural, but keep declaring it UNTIL  it manifests, UNTIL you can see what you're saying.

We are going into 2024 closing doors...Every broken door will NO LONGER be upheld, every toxic door will NO LONGER be tolerated,  every self-sabotaging door will NO LONGER be enabled.

We are closing doors, Every door that have proven to be unhealthy for us...We are choosing to close it, and declare that it is finished!!

No more hurt, no more pain, no more shame. Going into 2024 and beyond the only door we will be taking is "The Jesus Door."

[7]  So Jesus said again, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door for the sheep. [8]  All others who came [as such] before Me are thieves and robbers, but the [true] sheep did not listen to and obey them.

John 10:7-8 AMPC

"YOU and JESUS "

‭‭These are the words of Jesus...May His words shed some light on what you really been going through all this time.

Jesus said,

[16]  “Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

Luke 10:16 NIV

And all this time, you thought it was about  you...You thought they were rejecting you, you thought they just didn't want to be bothered with you....

But all this time, it was about Jesus, and if it was about Jesus, then ultimately it was about the God who sent Him.

So, As you gather with family & friends to celebrate Christmas this year....Remember, who you are carrying on the inside of you and that He's the real reason  why they act like they do towards you.

You see, You alone they can tolerate, but YOU and JESUS together are enough to frustrate all the plans the enemy has for your loved ones this holiday season.

YOU and JESUS qualify as two and two can chase and put 10,000 demons to flight according to Deut 32:20 and that's what they don't like.

It's WHO they don't like in you, NOT WHAT they don't like about you, but you stay strong. 

Remember, Joseph as good a man as he was almost divorced Mary because she was carrying Jesus inside of her - which says to me, people will always seek to dismiss you when they don't understand what's going on with you.

Thankfully, God stepped in via a dream and allowed Joseph to see what was really going on.

Matthew 1:18-21 NIV

Again, You stay strong....

God will deliver the truth to those around you who really desire to see what's going on.

"There Will Be Joy"

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭30:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

[5] Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

To me, this scripture represents change, it represents the change that is coming after you have endured- meaning you have suffered something difficult or painful and done so, patiently.

And because you have been patient in the pain....

God says, There will be joy.

[For] God will yet fill your mouth with laughter. And he will fill your lips with shouts of joy.

Job 8:21 ICB

What you've been through DOES NOT represent ALL you will ever have. In fact; it's just the opposite...Because you have been through a lot (endured a lot) great will be your reward.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126:5‭-‬6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

[5] Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. [6] He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with  him.

Beloved, 

For all those times you sowed in tears, giving what you thought was your last out of obedience (kind of like how the widow/mother did in 

1 Kings 17:7-12 NIV)

For all the times, you just sucked it up and took it upon yourself and STILL went forth though you were weeping (inwardly)....

God sees...He is STILL Beer Lahai Roi- The God Who Sees...and He will repay. 

Genesis 16:13-14 NIV

What you have endured was not in vain or meant to make you ashamed...He will repay.

Today, Let God minister to you NOT just in this word, but in song.

"Stand!!"

[45] But David said to him, You come to me using a sword, a large spear and a small spear. But I come to you in the name of the Lord....

[48] As Goliath came near to attack him, David ran quickly to meet him. [49] He took a stone from his pouch. He put it into his sling and slung it. The stone hit the Philistine on his forehead and sank into it. Goliath fell facedown on the ground. [50] So David defeated the Philistine with only a sling and a stone! He hit him and killed him. He did not even have a sword in his hand. 

1 Samuel 17:45, 48-50 ICB

Beloved,

No longer is it about what you have in your hand....Material things mean NOTHING if you don't have God in your heart.

David could have had a sword in his hand and still ended up defeated...But because God was in his heart, David was able to take one stone and make it sank in to Goliath's head. He didn't even need a sword.

And  SOMEBODY reading this right now...God says, You don't need a sword because the battle you're attempting to fight is NOT yours, but His.

2 Chron 20:15 NIV

You have been trying unsuccessfully to get some things to sank into that loved one's head, but the more you tell them, the more they rebel against you.

Like Goliath, they think they're big enough to intimidate you into a win, but that's not going to happen.The God you serve, the God that's in your heart won't let that happen.

So, The next time they attack you physically or verbally don't back down. UNLIKE David with Goliath, you're NOT out to kill them, but you do need to let them know you're NOT afraid.

David stood for God and it's time for you to take a stand too (in your household, in your family), because some of the stuff the devil has our loved ones doing in these last days is just ridiculous to say the least.

Still we must remember that we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood, but against wickedness in high places. Ephes 6:12 KJV

Every thing is spiritual...

Even now, especially now.

So, Stand unapologetically. 

Stand for God!!

"ME"

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[13] I can do all this through Him who gives ME strength.

‭‭[CEV] Christ gives ME the strength to face anything.

ME...That means YOU. God has deposited some strength into YOU. You have strength for whatever you're in, strength for whatever you're facing.

Even if YOU are the reason why you're going through what you're going through...

YOU must remember that God knew what you were going to say and do in that situation, BEFORE the words left your mouth, BEFORE you did what you did.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:3‭-‬5‬ ‭CEV‬‬

[3] You notice everything I do and everywhere I go. [4] Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say, [5] and with your powerful arm you protect me from every side.

He protects you from every side. Have you ever thought that one of those sides could be, God (looks at) and protects YOU from YOURSELF?

Think about it. Some of us would be in a lot bigger mess if God hadn't intervened, had He not given us the strength to endure some crying days, given us the strength  to endure some hard times. 

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭30:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Joy meaning strength....

The joy of the Lord is our strength according to Nehemiah 8:10 NIV

Therefore, We give Him ALL the credit that's due, because if it had not been Him and His

 strength....

[1] I give you all the credit, God— you got me out of that mess, you didn’t let my foes gloat.

"You Keep Holding On"

[25] And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, [26] and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, [27] when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 

Mark 5:25-27 KJV

Beloved,

You don't know how strong your faith is...UNTIL you get hit with something and you keep holding on. 

The woman in Mark 5 (who remains nameless because she could've easily been you or me). She had an issue with her health for 12 long years; something was going on in her body, but she held on.

She had spent all her money, but still she held on.

She was not getting any better, but rather grew worse, but still she held on.

She held on...UNTIL her faith led her right to Jesus. 

Where is your faith leading you and To Whom is your faith leading you?

I hope the answer is to Jesus...I hope you are being led to Jesus more and more each day...UNTIL you are close enough to get a touch, to feel His touch and be healed of whatever has been causing you to bleed physically, spiritually, and financially. 

You have managed to hold on for this long and your faith that tomorrow things will change, things will be better has not been in vain.

For the bible says in 

‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:29‭-‬30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

[29] And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. [30] And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 

Beloved, Was it you? It could be you? You haven't made it this far with the little strength, with the little money you have left for nothing.

Your faith to keep holding on in spite of; sometimes even because of, will be rewarded.

‭‭He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. 

Hebrews 11:6 KJV

(ICB‬‬) He rewards those who truly want to find him...

Get ready to be rewarded!!

"Lord, I Thank You!!"

[12] As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance [13] and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” [14] When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. [15] One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. [16] He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

Luke 17:12-16 NIV

THE ONLY ONE out of the 10 that came back to tell Jesus, "Thank You!!' just happened to be a Samaritan.(Jews & Samaritans didn't associate with each other back then John 4:9 NIV). Coincidence, I think not!! 

Beloved, 

‭I pray that God will do something SO MAJOR for you that it makes you forget that little prejudice attitude you have towards that person that's of a different ethnicity than you.

Because Jesus, He doesn't care about ethnicity, He cares about you. It doesn't matter if you're Jewish or you're Samaritan etc.

So, Don't let your pride stop you from being thankful, stop you from telling Jesus, "Thank You!!"

He knew the other men wouldn't come back to say, "Thank You."  But because that one Samaritan was worth His time & effort....

Because you were worth His time and effort, because He healed you when you thought you couldn't be healed...

Give Him Thanks!!

Stop watching, waiting to see what those around you will do.

Everybody reacts differently to  be healed.

Perhaps, They didn't NEED that healing, that deliverance, that blessing as much as you did.

Perhaps, Like that Samaritan you carry a different spirit, a spirit of thankfulness.

1Thess 5:18 NLT

That's the Spirit, God is looking for This Thanksgiving and every day thereafter, because "Thank You" is truly the password by which you will enter His Presence (uninterrupted) for the rest of your life; if you so desire.
