"Stand!!"

[45] But David said to him, You come to me using a sword, a large spear and a small spear. But I come to you in the name of the Lord....

[48] As Goliath came near to attack him, David ran quickly to meet him. [49] He took a stone from his pouch. He put it into his sling and slung it. The stone hit the Philistine on his forehead and sank into it. Goliath fell facedown on the ground. [50] So David defeated the Philistine with only a sling and a stone! He hit him and killed him. He did not even have a sword in his hand. 

1 Samuel 17:45, 48-50 ICB

Beloved,

No longer is it about what you have in your hand....Material things mean NOTHING if you don't have God in your heart.

David could have had a sword in his hand and still ended up defeated...But because God was in his heart, David was able to take one stone and make it sank in to Goliath's head. He didn't even need a sword.

And  SOMEBODY reading this right now...God says, You don't need a sword because the battle you're attempting to fight is NOT yours, but His.

2 Chron 20:15 NIV

You have been trying unsuccessfully to get some things to sank into that loved one's head, but the more you tell them, the more they rebel against you.

Like Goliath, they think they're big enough to intimidate you into a win, but that's not going to happen.The God you serve, the God that's in your heart won't let that happen.

So, The next time they attack you physically or verbally don't back down. UNLIKE David with Goliath, you're NOT out to kill them, but you do need to let them know you're NOT afraid.

David stood for God and it's time for you to take a stand too (in your household, in your family), because some of the stuff the devil has our loved ones doing in these last days is just ridiculous to say the least.

Still we must remember that we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood, but against wickedness in high places. Ephes 6:12 KJV

Every thing is spiritual...

Even now, especially now.

So, Stand unapologetically. 

Stand for God!!

"ME"

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[13] I can do all this through Him who gives ME strength.

‭‭[CEV] Christ gives ME the strength to face anything.

ME...That means YOU. God has deposited some strength into YOU. You have strength for whatever you're in, strength for whatever you're facing.

Even if YOU are the reason why you're going through what you're going through...

YOU must remember that God knew what you were going to say and do in that situation, BEFORE the words left your mouth, BEFORE you did what you did.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:3‭-‬5‬ ‭CEV‬‬

[3] You notice everything I do and everywhere I go. [4] Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say, [5] and with your powerful arm you protect me from every side.

He protects you from every side. Have you ever thought that one of those sides could be, God (looks at) and protects YOU from YOURSELF?

Think about it. Some of us would be in a lot bigger mess if God hadn't intervened, had He not given us the strength to endure some crying days, given us the strength  to endure some hard times. 

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭30:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

[5] Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Joy meaning strength....

The joy of the Lord is our strength according to Nehemiah 8:10 NIV

Therefore, We give Him ALL the credit that's due, because if it had not been Him and His

 strength....

[1] I give you all the credit, God— you got me out of that mess, you didn’t let my foes gloat.

"You Keep Holding On"

[25] And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, [26] and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, [27] when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 

Mark 5:25-27 KJV

Beloved,

You don't know how strong your faith is...UNTIL you get hit with something and you keep holding on. 

The woman in Mark 5 (who remains nameless because she could've easily been you or me). She had an issue with her health for 12 long years; something was going on in her body, but she held on.

She had spent all her money, but still she held on.

She was not getting any better, but rather grew worse, but still she held on.

She held on...UNTIL her faith led her right to Jesus. 

Where is your faith leading you and To Whom is your faith leading you?

I hope the answer is to Jesus...I hope you are being led to Jesus more and more each day...UNTIL you are close enough to get a touch, to feel His touch and be healed of whatever has been causing you to bleed physically, spiritually, and financially. 

You have managed to hold on for this long and your faith that tomorrow things will change, things will be better has not been in vain.

For the bible says in 

‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:29‭-‬30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

[29] And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. [30] And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 

Beloved, Was it you? It could be you? You haven't made it this far with the little strength, with the little money you have left for nothing.

Your faith to keep holding on in spite of; sometimes even because of, will be rewarded.

‭‭He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. 

Hebrews 11:6 KJV

(ICB‬‬) He rewards those who truly want to find him...

Get ready to be rewarded!!

11/22/23 "Lord, I Thank You!!"

"Lord, I Thank You!!"

[12] As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance [13] and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” [14] When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. [15] One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. [16] He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

Luke 17:12-16 NIV

THE ONLY ONE out of the 10 that came back to tell Jesus, "Thank You!!' just happened to be a Samaritan.(Jews & Samaritans didn't associate with each other back then John 4:9 NIV). Coincidence, I think not!! 

Beloved, 

‭I pray that God will do something SO MAJOR for you that it makes you forget that little prejudice attitude you have towards that person that's of a different ethnicity than you.

Because Jesus, He doesn't care about ethnicity, He cares about you. It doesn't matter if you're Jewish or you're Samaritan etc.

So, Don't let your pride stop you from being thankful, stop you from telling Jesus, "Thank You!!"

He knew the other men wouldn't come back to say, "Thank You."  But because that one Samaritan was worth His time & effort....

Because you were worth His time and effort, because He healed you when you thought you couldn't be healed...

Give Him Thanks!!

Stop watching, waiting to see what those around you will do.

Everybody reacts differently to  be healed.

Perhaps, They didn't NEED that healing, that deliverance, that blessing as much as you did.

Perhaps, Like that Samaritan you carry a different spirit, a spirit of thankfulness.

1Thess 5:18 NLT

That's the Spirit, God is looking for This Thanksgiving and every day thereafter, because "Thank You" is truly the password by which you will enter His Presence (uninterrupted) for the rest of your life; if you so desire.

"Hurt In Jesus Name"

[27] Just then his disciples came back. They were shocked. They couldn’t believe he was talking with that kind of a woman. No one said what they were all thinking, but their faces showed it. [28-30] The woman took the hint and left. In her confusion she left her water pot....

John 4:27-30 MSG

The disciples didn't say it outloud, but it was clear to the woman that they were talking about her, their faces showed it. So, She took the hint, and left.

She had been comfortable there, talking to Jesus one on one...But soon as his disciples showed up, in came the spirit of confusion.

The disciples should have known better. She should have been just as comfortable with the disciples as she was with Jesus, but she wasn't. 

Because they judged her, the minute they saw her based solely on the fact that she was a Samaritan (Jews didn't associate with Samaritans). John 4:9 NIV

They didn't bother to look pass  the fact that she was "that" kind of woman and get to know her, just for her.

If you have been hurt by someone who was suppose to be a representative of Jesus, hurt in the name of Jesus...Because they chose to use His name, but show NONE of His character. 

They were not merciful, they had no compassion for you or towards the things you were going through. Instead, You got talked about and judged.

Beloved, I apologize...

Those who are Prejudice, Prideful, Judgmental, Think themselves to be Superior to others are not of God.

‭‭The bible says,

[9] The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. (That includes YOU!!)

Psalms 145:9 NIV

The bible says,

[22] The Lord's kindness never fails! If he had not been merciful, we would have been destroyed. [23] The Lord can always be trusted to show mercy each morning.

Lamentations 3:22-23 CEV

Beloved, God shows mercy and He is kind...Forgive those who were not!!

"Those Days"

[11] He will put his angels in charge of you to protect you in all your ways.

Psalms 91:11 GW

We all have ways that are our own, ways that are not always pleasing to God.

But even then, when we wake up not in the best of moods, wake up feeling some kinda way, wake up fully emerged in our ways....

Even then, God chooses not to throw us away, not to throw us right into the devil's hands.Though the devil is there, seeking whom he may devour, and we don't have the strength to resist him; the way that we should, not on those days.

1 Peter 5:8-9 NKJV

Anybody ever had one of those days, when you just woke up and ALREADY the day is too much, ALREADY you feel overwhelmed?

Even then, God is protecting you, protecting you from YOUR WAYS, from where that attitude, where that behavior, from where that mindset right there could take you, if left unprotected.

Because it's on those days  unfortunately that there is room, there is an opportunity for the devil to come in (Ephes 4:27 AMPC)...BUT GOD!!

He will put his angels in charge of you to protect you IN ALL YOUR WAYS.

So, Beloved, If today is one of those days, and you're in YOUR WAYS..Be still and know, this too shall pass.

"Something Is Missing"

‭‭[19] As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.

Proverbs 27:19 NIV

Beloved, 

You camouflage well. You are an expert at fooling people, you can even fool yourself at times, but your life is a direct reflection of what's going on in your heart.

And while man is looking at your outter appearance (thinking you're okay), God is looking at your heart  (1 Samuel 16:7) and He can tell "something" is missing.

Remember, It was God who could tell "something" was missing from Adam's life, 

something he needed that would make his life better, make his life whole.

 I'm sure, if someone had asked Adam...He would have said, he was indeed living his best life. But while he was busy naming the animals God had created (Genesis 2:19-20); living what he thought was his best life... God was busy addressing the loneliness He could see in him (alone- ness that He said in Genesis 2:18 was not good).

So, He performed surgery on Adam with no anesthesia, with no pain meds...Because when God cuts you, it's always to heal you, not hurt you and Eve came forth; while Adam was sleeping, while he was still healing. (Genesis 2:21-22)

SOMEBODY:

What you need to heal, to make your life better, make your life whole may or may not be a person (an Adam or an Eve)...But whatever it is, you need to properly address the way you've been feeling on the inside...

Just like He did for Adam...Trust that God sees and He knows what you need better than you do. Trust Him to heal you.
