"The Freedom To Choose"

You are no longer a slave to sin. Sin eventually takes away your choices and leaves you feeling like you need it or them to survive, to cope.

That's not the nature of God. ALL throughout the bible, you are given a choice, given the freedom to choose.

But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15 NLT

Death and life are in the power of the tongue...Which are you choosing?

Do you want to be made well?

Yes or No

Jesus is standing at the door (of your heart) knocking...

Will you let Him in?

These are just a few of the choices presented to you in the bible...Because life is about the freedom to choose.

Therefore, Anyone threatening to take away your choices or who makes you feel like you have no choice is NOT of God.

GET AWAY FROM THEM!!

Beloved, You have EVERY right to say what you want and what you don't want.

Not only is it your right, but it's your GOD-given right to choose, to have an opinion, to think for yourself.

If BOTH God the Father and God the Son (Jesus) have shown respect for your right to choose...Who are people not to?

"Unhealed"

There was a woman from Shunem who had (along with her husband) been kind enough to build a room (onto the roof)  just for Elisha, just so the Man of God would have a place to lay his hand when in town.

But when Elisha wanted to do something for her in return.

He prophesied: 

“Next year at this time you will be holding a son in your arms!” 

Her response: “No, my Lord!” she cried. “O man of God, don’t deceive me and get my hopes up like that.” 

2 Kings 4:8-16 NLT 

BELOVED, God leaves nothing unhealed, but it's obvious this woman was unhealed in her emotions.

God says, He wants to bless you, but because you have been lied to, because you have been deceived...You're afraid to trust Him for what you can't see. You are unhealed.

Therefore, Just like Elisha prophesied to the woman..."Next year at this time; I prophesy that  next year at this time...You will have restored back to you the very thing  you lost, that which you were lied to about,  whatever was used to deceive you will be given to you for real, this time WITH NO STRINGS attached.

In other words, God will heal the lies, and the deception by FINISHING what they started. 

Better yet, by MAKING THEM finish what they started.

Why do you think Elisha felt led to prophesy (of all things) to the woman as a part of his  "thank you" to her?

Because God needed a way to heal what had been broken or stolen in or from this precious woman.  So, He impregnated Elisha's mouth to produce exactly what she needed to heal.

You see, That bible talks about more than just physical healing...But Psalm 147:3 talks about healing your broken heart. Jere 30:17 talks about healing NOT just your body, but your wounds; all the wounds you have acquired in this life.

Why? Because God leaves nothing unhealed.

"Is It Really Love?"

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

1 Corinthians 13:4‭-‬5 NIV 

Have they been patient with you, getting to know you?

Have they been kind to you, really kind to you or has there been some kind of hidden agenda all along?

Are they confident in their own identity or are they envious of you? Do they boast, always saying more than they should and NEVER giving God any of the glory?

If so, that's not love. SOMEBODY: You are not being loved if there's always something negative attached to what they're saying or doing.

You see, Just as the bible says:

LOVE- it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 

So, If you feel dishonored, disrespected in the relationship.  If you feel that person is just there seeking to please themselves, please their flesh.

If you have experienced more anger than calmness, level-headedness....

AND ESPECIALLY if they're always remembering, monitoring every thing you have ever said or done wrong and throwing it in your face...

That's NOT love!!...

Love keeps no record of wrongs. There is no mental file on you that can be pulled up and used against you...

Not when it's really love they are after. I think you deserve better, I know you deserve better.

"How Bad Do You Want It?"

In the city near the sheep gate was a pool with five porches, and its name in Hebrew was Bethzatha. Many sick, blind, lame, and paralyzed people were lying close to the pool. Beside the pool was a man who had been sick for 38 years. When Jesus saw the man and realized that he had been crippled for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to be healed?” The man answered, “Sir, I don't have anyone to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up. I try to get in, but someone else always gets there first.” 

John 5:2‭-‬7 CEV 

Sometimes, God will allow a situation, not so you can feel sorry for yourself...But so you can see that no one in your particular situation is better than you.

Whether the invalid man looked to left or to the right of him, there was no one at that pool better than him...Everybody there was dealing  with something.

Beloved, 

Everybody around you is dealing with something. So, How can they be better than you?

Okay so, they might be faster at getting to their desired goal than you.

While you are still finding excuses as to why you can't; just like the invalid man in the text...They are finding a way to just do it!

But are they better you? Absolutely NOT! If they can do it, you can too.

That invalid man could've gotten in that pool just as much as anyone else there....But he had to really want it.

How bad do you want it, that goal, that promotion, that career opportunity etc.?

Can you see yourself achieving it even if no one ever stops to help you, to give you a  helping hand, a break, or a good deal?

Or are you too busy feeling sorry for yourself, because you think it's too late to get in the pool, to get in the business, to get in that program and earn a degree etc.?

Don't you know the bible talks about you being able to do ALL things; talks about  you being ready for anything and equal to anything through Him?... 

Christ is The Key according to
