"The Truth Is"
[5] Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. [6] He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had: [7] We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.” [8] His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said. [9] Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”
Genesis 37:5-9 NIV
Joseph was just telling his brothers what he saw.
He didn't mean no harm, but because he was misunderstood in his family...
They hated him for the very thing God had established to save their lives.
Even in the darkest times you have to say what you want to see, with haters all around you, right there in your family....You have to say what God has commissioned you to say, and be unapologetic for what you're seeing. Say it until you want it, with or without them.
In Genesis 37:19-28 NIV
Joseph went to Egypt because of his brothers, but notice this: He went because of his brothers, but yet he went without his brothers.
Beloved,
It's lonely now, you're misunderstood now, you're hated now UNTIL what you have been saying manifests and EVERYBODY can see, it was more than just dreams, more than a dream.
The dreams Joseph had were of God sent...God used Joseph’s dream life, used his imagination to position him in a place where He could save, he could help the very ones that hated him. Read Genesis 45.
Until Next Sunday.
