"Fearfully & Wonderfully"

[5] “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart....

Jeremiah 1:5 NIV

Keep in mind that God knew you before you were in your mother's womb just like He told Jeremiah  and still in all that time, from then up until now...

God says, The only thing He has ever called you was fearfully and wonderfully.  Where do you think David got those exact words from?

In Psalm 139

David was just saying back to God, what God had said over him, and you should do the same.

I know this world has labeled you as this and that, placed you in a box and tried to stereotype you because of your race, calling you names that would be unfit for a dog.

People that should love you and be the biggest supporter of "whatever" you do have also called you names that fall beneath your character. 

Even the doctors have diagnosed some of you as this and as that....

Still God says, The only 2 words (names) I have ever called you were fearfully and wonderfully any other words, any other names were not of me, or approved by me.

Beloved,

Do like David and ONLY call yourself what God calls you. YOU CAN STOP A LOT OF WHAT PEOPLE CALL YOU by quoting back to them what YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER has said about you.

Build your faith up (Jude 1:20 NKJV) and speak into the atmosphere:

Psalms 139:13-14 NIV

[13] For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. [14] I praise you because I AM fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Now, Act like you know, hold your head up like you know.

YOU ARE FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY made.

"Getting Prepared!!"

In Psalms 23:

David says to the Lord,

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies"....And if anybody knows about getting prepared in the presence of his enemies, it would be David!! 

Beloved,

God is preparing a table for you, but at the same time....He is preparing YOU for the table. That's where your enemies come in.

God is using your enemies to stretch you, so that mentally you will be able to process the kind of peace He is going to cause you to enter into once you make it to the table.

You will have peace right in the face of  the enemies that have bothered you in the past, once you make it to the table.

Spiritually this table represents the gathering of your thoughts, it represents you finally getting your mind together and being able to relax & enjoy the blessings you already have without any guilt being present. 

And your enemies, they will be there as a sign that God is pleased with your ways -meaning your conduct, your choices, your heart posture-how you live, not just what you say.

Proverbs 16:7 NKJV

"Facing Goliath"

David ran and stood over Goliath (the Philistine). He took hold of Goliath's sword, drew it from the sheath & cut off his head.

1 Samuel 17:51 NIV

Goliath represents-that issue, that ungodly spirit, that generational curse that needs to be CUT OFF in your family.  ✂️ 

God says, The only way David was able to cut off Goliath's head was he had to face him. It wasn't enough that he knocked that ungodly spirit out with just a sling & a rock...HE HAD TO FINISH THE JOB & CUT OFF HIS HEAD!!

It's time you faced YOUR GOLIATH...YOU HAVE LEFT TOO MUCH UNSAID, TOO MUCH UNDONE both physically and in the realm of the Spirit. 

It's time you faced "that thing" you know is an issue in your family. You can't keep running from it, acting like it doesn't exist.

As the Philistine (as Goliath) moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him.

1 Samuel 17:48 NIV

David was able to push pass any 2nd thoughts trying to play out in his mind and attack the issue that had been attacking his family.

You see, David being willing to face Goliath was about more than just him defeating the giant that had defied the living GOD. David had to do this for his family.

SOMEBODY: DO IT FOR YOUR FAMILY!!

David’s older brothers were a part of Saul’s Israelite Army (1 Samuel 17:13-14) and they were all terrified of Goliath according to 1 Samuel 17:11 NIV

So, If David had not faced Goliath (that ungodly spirit of fear) would have continued terrorizing his brothers, continued terrorizing his family.

Beloved,

It's time for you & God to come up with a strategy both physically & spiritually that will bring healing, bring deliverance from that issue that has gone on too long in your family. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! CUT IT OFF!!

We come against generational curses. IN JESUS NAME!!

Seek God in prayer.

"Taking Baby Steps"

[21] So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. [22] Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

Genesis 2:21-22 NIV

Adam was the 1st man and the only man to be operated on supernaturally. Therefore, His body didn't require time to heal. He woke up, was introduced to Eve and they went on with their lives from there.

Keep in mind also that this was before THE FALL, before Adam & Eve disobeyed God....So, There was NO PAIN (Genesis 3).

Unfortunately, Now you and I have to deal with the pain of so many things. Most of the time, we don't have the luxury of just pushing through, EVEN THOUGH WE TRY!! We try to push through and keep going; risking a possible relapse, a possible breakdown etc.

Truth be told though, You and I, we have not been operated on supernaturally like Adam and so, we feel pain, and so, we need time to heal physically and inwardly.

Physically and inwardly there is still so much that's unhealed, so much that we need to pray about, we need to work on, and in some cases, consult with a doctor, or therapist about.

Beloved, 

God promised to restore us to health and heal our wounds (Jeremiah 30:17), but the 1st step towards being healed, being whole, being restored is ours to take in the natural.

So, Take the necessary steps, BELOVED. Let's do it together...Let's heal.

[61] The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.” [62] And Peter went outside and wept bitterly.

Luke 22:61-62 NIV

We have all had a moment, I'm sure; a moment where we (as Christians) remember something God warned us about AFTER we went and did "the thing."

Jesus warned Peter that he would disown him 3xs, but Peter being so sure of himself and of his relationship with Jesus said that he would never!!

[33] Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.” [34]  “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”

Matthew 26:33-34 NIV

How many times, Beloved, have you went and found yourself doing the very thing you said you wouldn't?

Words saying what you wouldn't do are easy to come by UNTIL pressure is applied, UNTIL you have to back up what you're mouth has been saying.

I pray we be stronger Christians in the days ahead..

Not perfect, but stronger as we stand for THE ONE we say we believe in.

Because the world is looking, but more importantly....JESUS IS LOOKING at us. The breaking is real, may the tears be real and the repentance be even realer in the days ahead.

Father God,

We repent for ways that we may have KNOWINGLY let you down, knowingly disobeyed your warning, thinking we know ourselves, thinking we know what we will & will not do. Truth be told,

WE KNOW NOTHING, we don't even know ourselves....Without You. 

In Jesus name.

Amen.

"The Crisis"

“O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Matt 14:31 NKJV

Don't despise the crisis you find yourself in...

Sometimes it takes a crisis to determine who really believes you in, who really has faith in you.

Here in Mark 5:38-40 (NIV)...They laughed at Jesus when (in the midst of what they thought was a crisis) He said, "The child is not dead, but asleep." They laughed because they didn't believe in Him,  they didn't have faith in Him to be able to made good on what He said.

And Beloved, Some of the very ones right now in your inner circle....They don't believe in you, they don't have faith in you. Secretly, They  think you can't make good on what you're always talking about you're going to do.

They think you are just a "Dreamer" like Joseph's brothers thought of him and are trying to do EVERYRHING in their own power to sabotage your progress.

Genesis 37:19-28 NIV

Jesus understood the games people play...How they can seem to be on board with you UNTIL you say or do something they don't understand and then it becomes a laughing matter.

So, He put them out, and ONLY kept with Him those He knew had the faith to see a miracle happen.

Beloved, Let Jesus be your example of how to make it happen:

1). Remove those who are faithless, those who laugh (who don't take you seriously).

2). ONLY bring with you, bring & keep close to you people whose faith matches (or exceeds) your own.

It's not too late to make it happen. The child was not dead, and neither are your dreams.
